Sure, I'll pony up 10k BTS for the bounty.  Let me know who to pay when it's finished.

I'll add another 10k

And from where are the scammers getting the e-mail addresses of OBITS owners?

A deposit that was sent to my account has not been credited. 150 BTS on block # 3808523.

It still hasn't shown up. Is it required that users contact someone who's running the bot to have a deposit credited? If that is the case who do I contact? I assumed it was automated.

It is automatic, but you do have to make sure you do what konelectroc said. Did you? Lets start from there and go forward.

I also sent a deposit of 90 BTS to my account and I did put the memo in it. It was in BLOCK #3008875 on January 26, 2016, 1:50:27pm. It has never shown up in my account. I haven't followed up with it previously because I have ben quite busy with other matters, and I was hoping the kinks would get worked out of the sharebot and I would fund my account later.

General Discussion / Re: Trustless, Decentralized Bond Market Draft

does bts have enough users to support Bond Market?

Bytemaster has said that liquidity needs to come first. I think he is just planning ahead so that it is a drop and play once liquidity is achieved.

@noisy  (and anyone else who can help)

Would you please list specific action steps that supporters of this initiative should take in order to participate? A step by specific step format would be great for various individuals wanting to add support and who currently hold assets/crypto in various places and markets.

Make it easy and straightforward for people to contribute to your initiative.

I have a small amount of bitcoin in a bitcoin wallet that I have been saving in order to support this initiative (otherwise I would have used it for other things before now).

What should I do with bitcoin currently in a bitcoin wallet in order to support this liquidity initiative? I am not much of a trader. I do not currently own USD or BTC in the DEX (although I do own UIAs such as OBITS and OPENPOS). So I need someone to give me a step by step going from a Bitcoin wallet to the market(s) targeted for this liquidity initiative.  Other people might want  to go from DOGE or NXT or other wallets to support the  initiative.  @noisy @dannotestein

General Discussion / Re: Liquidity Event Hangout

I suggest the same time as the Friday morning Hangouts (10:00am). Why would the best fit be different for this hangout than for Friday's? We definitely can't fit absolutely everyone's schedule in a global community, and a lot of previous feedback gave the 10:00am result.

we can donate

Do you think BTS community really donates?
LTC guys once said they donate and then coblee had to make up for them :)))))

No hard feeling of course, just trying tio check the ground. I have to say CCEDK always paid for promos i did. And i was always one of good sellers for them.

You would get a referral income based on your results from your posting. If you want Ronny at ccedk to get the referral income instead of you then you can approach him to pay you for putting his opportunity in front of your 16,000 readers.

What am I missing?

I'm with the crowd on this one. Option B.

Fully agree. Let's see how quickly we can do this, because other teams read this Forum to get their inspiration.

Was the Chamelon release delayed?

The hard fork enabling Privacy Mode was successfully completed. It is now undergoing extensive testing. We are waiting on Ben to give the "all clear" from his testing activities.
Awesome! is that maybe the reason why it took quite a few hours to receive my BTS on OpenLedger from Poloniex? Just wondering

I don't think so. I think your issue may be with Poloniex.

forking should include rebranding on all levels, even drastic technical improvements go largely unnoticed

It's a clean slate with some of the best tech in the industry. Focus on a few key points, make the branding consistent and interfaces easy to use.  BitShares will still continue to expand items such as the PM, bonds, VMs on and on. I don't see them as competing, just different markets that have overlap.

I don't think that you have considered all of the consequences. At a bare minimum a forked chain in an "overlapping market" will be competing for readily available capital.

I also think it likely that some BTS hodlers will sell in order to buy more stake in the forked chain's crowdfunder. The downward pressure on BTS will be substantial. Tonyk is proposing that the "dshares" be priced at 1/7 BTS.   BTS dumpers will be expecting a dshares pump. They will want to get 7 times the number of "dshares" as they sell BTS and then hope that they can sell some of these dshares at a quick profit in terms of DOGE or whatever.

If Tonyk had the leadership ability and personality to be a successful team or business leader then he would continue, and be able, to garner support for the changes he wants  within the BitShares consensus mechanism. But he does not. He does not have that kind of ability or personality. His considerable strenghts lie elsewhere. So he is instead attempts a very divisive fork at a time when we should be pulling together as a community which is on the verge of major innovation and progress.

Frustrated ego appears to have gotten the best of him.
Or has tonyk come up with some new consensus mechanism more to his liking to enable in this fork of his?

Let us not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory people.
