@onceuponatime
Rumors are you supporting @kenCode finishing his work on stealth.

Could you be so kind and inform us about current state of kencodes work on stealth.
What are your plans? Is there anything we as a community could do to help?

Do you plan to implement it on Peerplays first, would it be free to implement on Bitshares too?

Whats the big deal with everyone being so secretive? I know it is stealth we are talking about, but why everything about it needs to be stealth :-\.

Ken plans on resuming his weekly reports on steemit with regards to the development progress of the Stealth feature. He will not talk about any of the other BlockPay development because his salary has not been paid for a month and because his devs were also not getting paid. There appears to be a hostile takeover attempt of Ken's (51%) company by an entrenched management. I plan to start doing posts on steemit with documentation if that entrenched management does not pay Ken his salary by tonight (Munich time) even though they have been paying themselves their own salaries. Tomorrow is the 1st of the month again, so Ken will be owed a second  month's salary. We will see if this entrenched management pay themselves again, but not Ken :-)

If Ken is paid his owed salary, then we could have a conference call this evening and work out all differences amicably, as I have been trying to get them to do for many weeks. Unfortunately, although Ken has agreed all along to do so, the entrenched management thought they had the upper hand because ken made the mistake of allowing them to control the purse strings so he could concentrate on development. But they are wrong, because I will support Ken with whatever resources he needs to prevent this travesty of justice from going forward.

Things might get very interesting indeed!

could the link be corrected, its ded.  i would be happy to throw in a few bucks, got some btc i can throw into the cause.

just my .02 satoshis, but i wouldnt say its critical but it certainly is another way that bts will distinguish itself in the space.  there is really no other crypto that has the potential of bts, but execution by dev team and community support is obviously key.

got to link with search on steemit

I'll be honest, I don't think stealth features align with the next wave of investors.

I firmly believe the first bitcoin run several years ago was driven by people who were on the bleeding edge of tech. I think the wave of people coming into crypto now is the bleeding edge of finance.

I think these people are going to be traders, hedge funds, venture capital, mutual funds.

They are familiar with trading technologies. They are familiar with transactions per second. (things bitshares has) Secret transactions are not critical to them because they don't exist in our current banking world.

Stealth transactions are not important to the future of bitshares.

Why are stealth transactions valuable to the groups listed?  traders, hedge funds, venture capital, mutual funds
I do think stealth is needed to take marketcap from the anon cryptos, as to why they would want private trading - they might not want their every trade data mined? It is a public ledger after all..

Can you buy stealth tokens? I'd love to own a stake..

Stealth tokens are closely held by a very few accounts at this time. Some may possibly become available on the Bitshares DEX after the Stealth feature has been fully tested on the testnet and then launched on the bitshares blockchain.

General Discussion / Re: BlockPay in Serious Trouble
« on: May 14, 2017, 04:43:51 pm »

Sorry for being only little responsive here but I want to clarify two things:
a) I am not involved in BitShares Munich nor am I a shareholder of BitShares Munich IVS or BlockPay
b) The picture above actually shows that I assist BitShares Munich's CEO Chris Hering in his rebranding efforts

The fact that they need me to help them create those repositories should tell you a little about what is going on.

a) The last time you and I corresponded, you were sitting in the Munich office of Bitshares Munich while Chris was actually in China. That tells me that you have very good access and are far from being a disinterested party.

b) The picture above actually shows that you are aiding and abetting Chris Herring (and other parties?) in a hostile takeover attempt of Kencode's (51%) company, Bithares-Munich, which he started and of which I was the first backer. You should be ashamed of yourself. "Re-branding" is a very very misleading way of describing the nefarious activities being perpetrated in Munich.

@kenCode,

"I'm trying to give the marketing people some substance so they can at least start to plan a marketing approach."

And just who might these "marketing people" be?

We discussed this in the Mumble, so I don't know why you are bringing it up again now.

When STEALTH has been tested on the testnet and proven to work, that is when marketing is called for, not before. What is the point of paying to bring eyeballs to something that isn't out yet? When there is no action for them to take? And which may prove to not work yet?

Ronny tried to get me to start advertising STEALTH many many months ago when I was the sole token holder. I told him that I am philosophically opposed to advertising vaporware to the public (or to anyone other than early venture capitalist investors who are ready to invest in ideas before there is working software).

Bitshares Munich and I, between us holding a large majority of STEALTH tokens, are in agreement that the project is unfolding as it should and can. Tell these "marketing people"  that you mentioned, whoever they may be, to start advertising the features that bitshares already has and which have been operational for ages. Where has this marketing of theirs been until now?

This sounds like a great idea to me.

However, not being technically minded, I have proxied my vote to Xeroc. If you get his vote, you automatically have mine!

That's it guys... The deadline is over and Construction token is now considered officially a huge failure.

I have tried to supply you guys with as much information as possible about the progress of the project.
I have tried to make real use of bitusd and support someone who had short term cash flow needs and no one (except one guy?) from this community has supported the initiative despite the big interest for the loan that was promised. I put an order to buy back the construction tokens sold @1.1760 which is much higher than anything promised on the original announcement so I expect that the current buyer(s) to be more than happy with this and that nothing more should be expected from the Issuer of the token.

I must say that I am really really disappointed from the bitshares community. I was expecting much more support from you guys...  :(

I want to make clear that CONSTRUCTION is no longer available and will never be available again in the form presented on the Announcement of this post. I have amended the asset description which you can see in http://cryptofresh.com/a/CONSTRUCTION and I quote below for the avoidance of any doubt:

"Construction in modern usage is a hypothetical social currency, which can be acquired by doing deeds or earning in the eyes of another, often one's superior. Anybody buying construction should NOT have any expectation of any profit from future sale of the token. The issuer is not liable from any potential loss from the acquisition of construction"

Those who believe in me will be able to buy CONSTRUCTION which I intend to price them vs BTS and not bitusd anymore over the next couple of days. I may chose to buy them back at higher value one day but you SHOULD NOT have any expectations of any kind of profit. I will not be liable for any financial loss you may encounter with "CONSTRUCTION". "CONSTRUCTION" will be used from now on as a token of faith in my future success in bitshares related projects and my intention to share the benefits of my potential success.

Anyway... I think I made it clear that "CONSTRUCTION" is not any longer as per the original announcement and I think I made it clear how much disappointing it is that the project didn't materialized as planed.

It's not the communities fault that you didn't raise the money... What were you expecting from a dwindling forum about an ever depreciating crypto coin?

Another factor to take into consideration:

Had you asked for a donation to build something or get something kick-started, because I know and trust you mf-tzo, I would have gladly donated. However, you put it forth as a business proposition. It therefore went against my philosophical leanings by forcing people through taxation to pay a profit to me for investing in the project. If you are going to propose business deals to me and those of my voluntarist principles you will need to show how the investment makes a return from people willingly paying/purchasing the good or service proposed.
