I recommend trading your BTC through cryptsy in order to get the PTS. Many people complain about cryptsy but you will not find a more secure and seamless trading experience.

Setting up an account is easy and can be done in minutes. http://cryptsy.com

Once your account is established, go to your BTC and click deposit. There you will generate your deposit address. Once deposited, your funds will be available after 4 confirmations on the network.

Now head to the PTS/BTC market.

Study the orders and look at the chart. Dont be fooled by silly algorithms manipulating the market. Select an entry price you feel reflects the true market price. (If you are after very large quantities, your entry to market would differ. There are strategies to move large volume without causing wide price fluctuations.)

Once you have your PTS, withdraw to your local wallet. Make sure your security is top notch, that the wallet is encrypted and you have safe backups of the private keys.

As you embark on this journey it may be wise to consider Angelshares for your portfolio. I strongly suggest reading thoroughly through the procedure.

Hope this helps with the PTS

Pre-ordering (when the gates open)

Depending on price I hope to get a few. There are many people after such a device.

I am from Australia and would like to make the conference. Under $1000 would be ideal. What is the approximate date?

General Discussion / NYDFS Public hearing on crypto currencies
« on: January 28, 2014, 06:48:10 pm »
The NYDFS public hearing regarding virtual currencies live stream and archival footage (28-29th January 2014)

This goes beyond bitcoin and steps into financial markets/instruments. Much talk directly relates to 3I, well worth the watch. I have a very positive feeling from the panel and look forward to future discussion. I feel the panel was in "cooperation" with crypto and identified crypto as the future.

Transcripts will be available shorty via Reddit and other crypto hip zones..

Did anyone invest in Mastercoin and if why?
I didnt because: Less promising than Bitshares + way more expenseive / higher market cap...

I invested in MSC. I liquidated most of my holdings in the last 24h.

This is because I do not feel comfortable about the MSC future. I am reallocating this towards Bitshares.

The initial investment was to distribute the portfolio and the concept seemed promising.

So after the 28th february, 4M BTS will be allocated proportionally to AGS and PTS holders?

General Discussion / Re: Estimated Price of 1 Bitshare
« on: January 25, 2014, 08:39:54 pm »
When Invictus deliver, even owning a handful of bitshares will prove rewarding. There is much to accomplish but I believe in Invictus.

Using the PTS and AGS price, I estimate they are currently around 15 USD. In my opinion they are severely undervalued.

On launch I will not be surprised by $100+ USD.

Keyhotee / Re: Can I sell one Keyhotee ID(BMW) here?
« on: January 25, 2014, 01:27:20 pm »
Thought we were bidding mate? I was set for 2.5 BTC on this...

I will get more AGS.

When did you set 2.5 BTC?

That was my personal limit as I thought we were bidding, + AGS wallet.

Its done now.

You have to be clear that there is no AGS wallet and AGS is not transferable. If you want the AGS, you have to wait until the BTS launch successfully. I suggest you make sure you really understand what AGS is, then we can make the deal, I don't want any issues in the future.

Haha, no there is a misunderstanding- I fully understand the concept of AGS. I originally thought you would sell the ID with AGS (1.5BTC) by transferring private keys, or just I.D (0.5BTC).

I will use these BTC to bid on daily AGS
