BitShares PTS / Bithares are your legal property
« on: March 01, 2014, 05:16:33 pm »
Bitshares derived from Protoshares caught on exchanges during snapshot are legal property of account holders. If you had Protoshares resting with an exchange, you are legally entitled to your dividends- regardless of their participation.

For substantial amounts this may be worth pursuing.

All information is easily accessible and investors have been made aware. Developers are busier than ever and may not have the luxury to trawl forums answering questions.

Keep your PTS in local wallets until at least 2nd march 2014

BitShares AGS / Re: Today the last day to get AGS? 27/02

And I am so glad I got them weeks and weeks ago...

Everything is clear and PTS holders are rewarded more than ever. What is so confusing? I dont even need to stalk the forums to figure it out.

There will always be those that are not happy. Take a look at NXT, master coin etc

This is the fairest and most well publicised IPO of all time.

Hi guys,

Apologies for the extended delay.

It was never in reference to 3I's bounty/financial operations. Only the layout of the site and then clicking on AGS that can direct you to angelshare donations/bids. There have been a number of scams that operate under this funding arrangement and to an outsider with no knowledge of 3I's activity one could understand the POV.

Clearly with some time spent poking about these feelings would have been quashed once the individuals had understood 3I. My concern was that prospective investors would not always take the time to sift through our info.

I have never heard any ill words spoken of bounty distribution, wages, contracts etc. I am sorry if my initial post caused confusion.

Very excited for the upcoming events! I go offline tonight for 8 days, although I can access wifi I will leave my secure devices in Australia.

Hoping to cruise the forums as a guest to keep updated,

Seeya guys!

Ok... I agree with you, our current website is an emergency update from our prior website and is in the process of being enhanced internally.

None of what you mentioned addresses scam accusations.

The scam accusations stem from the website. The layout with the monopoly men and bank-BTS comparison does look suspicious. The site offers no technical explanation and links to the AGS donation.

The scam accs come from prospective investors that were referred to the site.

I have personally addressed each individual.

Okay guys this needs to be addressed. The current website http://invictus.io is receiving scam accusations and for good reason.

We need this rectified as it is damaging our image.

Take it down or revamp.

Please define the problem instead of assuming we know.

indeed more infos would be useful..

The image we want is clean, professional and corporate bordering scientific in a way. I will run through quickly as I go offline in 3 days for 8 days. 1 mill tasks in between..

This is crypto. We need to communicate our message through every aspect of our branding. Through past experience (and research data), a company can have a superior product that will be under constraint by its advertising/ media rep.

What Invictus are doing is groundbreaking in every way, far ahead of our competitors. We do so well in in community, coding, economics, funding and fair adoption amongst other things but rather lack in official communication through announcements and communication through the branding scheme.

Everyone has worked their ass off and the community appreciates every moment taken to raise Invictus, even mistakes are valuable as we learn and build our success. I am not attacking any work and will never take that approach.

Invictus must devote more time to this area as we are losing much potential funding. There is a small percentage that will trawl our every forum post, the website represents us in a nutshell and I must stress how critical this is.

Starting with the main page http://invictus.io

It is basic and does not connect with what Invictus is about. The main earth/sun scheme will most likely need removal, link graphics, studio, contact and info layout + presentation is cluttered/ non corp etc

Much applies to the BTSX page but there needs to be a an immediate removal of the images. Monopoly, stamp, foreclosure. The comparison to the current bank vs BTS also needs to go. It could still exist if done in a professional manner and broken down to the decentralised mechanism, not from a radical point of view.

The AGS counter is good but the AGS graphics need customisation and a whole new individual image just as PTS BTS etc have their own true identity.

Clicking on the support BTS takes us t a page with info. Info is great but is difficult to navigate, same issue with header image + yellow and red writing.

Keyhotee also.

The underlying theme does not convey our image.

Take a look at the most professional and uber corporate companies branding, websites and marketing schemes. Thats where we need to be headed to instill trust in Invictus products.

Before I get a paragraph on 'decentralisation' and how we are not like these big corporations, I will tell you that is correct.

You will still however, need to play by human psychology and that will mean aligning the branding with what is synonymous with professional and corporate. Referring to scientific above is in the desire to take it one step further by achieving robotic/ DAC status in our marketing. Truly stepping beyond traditional prof/corp image to offer something that does not require trust, because it is in effect a program that cannot deviate. Our products require no trust to use that is true but in order for a consumer to adopt, there is certainly a level of trust (nobody wants to lose their assets).

Did I communicate the above paragraph effectively?

Foreseeing longterm there is the possibility of becoming the trillion dollar equity market. If that is going to be a reality its now time to lay off the anti-fiat/ government approach. Lets focus on doing our thing. If we do it well, we will take the market regardless.

You need to understand you will have the worlds gaze over this space in every way. Inside and out. Before you hit the stage and get under the spotlight, believe me, you want to have it together.

General Discussion / Re: Estimated Price of 1 Bitshare
« on: February 11, 2014, 05:00:25 pm »
my 5%:

I just received a newsletter from Ethereum that didn't contain the news that was promised. IPO still postponed until further notice.

Counterparty is doing a great job at its Alpha release. Happily coding away on unforeseen problems that come with the concept of a distributed exchange. I'm quite sure the III team is watching and learning. XCP meanwhile is selling at 5x the IPO price. Which is nice of course for the fools that burned their money away, but also tells us the community is still very much anticipating DEX' advent. While Counterparty is the first functional DEX its very far from a finished product.

IDK where MSC and NXT are at at the moment but I think that should III manage to release a coherent, functional and user friendly DEX within the next 2-3 months or so you need not worry on the ROI of your Angelshares. Funding crypto IPO's is a very high risk business, and the market tends to reward bravery rather generously (NXT, MSC, XCP all made a minimum 500% ROI directly after the IPO).

Considering that all DEX related cryptos went through the Mt. Gox crash without a glimpse I don't really see where this could go wrong other than Bytemaster ODing on Twinkies and Mountain Dew.

IMO, PTS/AGS has provided us with some price discovery for bitshares or at least a better idea of where it will begin trading.  The offerings you mention didn't really have any.  MSC and XCP are trading well below where it opened.  People were buying XCP for .01 on the first day and now you can pay around .005.  Same with MSC and the price is still falling.

I follow NXT closely, the devs are quite on the forums but they are meeting all their investors expectations. I see a positive future for them at the current rate and can see a niche market for the technology. I cant see them as a threat. None of the others gain particular appeal from my observations but I like to keep my bases covered.

From an analytical view I do believe invictus have the ability to succeed. *Our largest obstacle may become legal/regulatory.

As for many of the others... I wish crypto the best, but I know some projects will possibly decay. This is a sad prospect but you have it or you don't.

Excellent, thanks for the help guys. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to leave the Keyhotee client running in the background, help everyone find bugs :)

I'm interested in both PTS and AGS, and would like to invest in both.  I'll check out cryptsy for the PTS.  For AGS do I just send BTC to the investment address and it will automatically be allocated to the bitcoin wallet at the end of the day?  OK to do this with a blockchain wallet? I don't run the full bitcoin-qt client....

Once you bid for the daily allocation your AGS will be awarded to your address. They will not appear in your wallet. In the near future Invictus will provide import tools so you can redeem your stake in the future DACs. Basically you will own them but cannot trade them at this stage. You must control the private keys to redeem your stake and DO NOT send any donations from an exchange or a wallet that you do not control.

To look up your balance, simply type in your address in the angelshare explorer. You will also need to verify any hidden addresses. (these are addresses your wallet creates and sends from that differ from your usual known address. Many a noob has thought himself robbed when the address shows a zero balance.)

Donations are best sent from the QT wallet. I will confirm this and seek clarification. Perhaps a senior can expand?  I will provide you with the command line to type in your PTS wallet to reveal hidden addresses. (Search each one independently on the AGS explorer.)

Go to the tabs at the top of your wallet.
Click HELP
Click DEBUG WINDOW
Go to CONSOLE
Type: listaddressgroupings

There are your hidden addresses  8)
