« on: July 12, 2014, 04:12:45 pm »
I think the plan is to migrate PTS to DPOS sometime after the BitShares toolkit is released

Did you have a balance on BTER or are you just using them as a price point?
They should have scaled anyone's balance on the account already

i am acutally waiting for an official wallet, then start trade, prolly with a tutorial.

i tried the current wallet, crashes a lot time.

i just wanna be safe

good idea

General Discussion / The Important Update Thread! is in ruins

and it could use an update. the last edit was on may 7th and there's been plenty of update worthy news since then:

- beta wallet clients released for mac and windows
- DPOS test networks are up and running
- new DACs announced - Music, followmyvote
- lottoshares being released in less than a week
- BTSX upcoming release and information on DACsunlimited
- btc38 and bter trading BTSX promissory notes

information on BitShares is scattered all over the forums. a well curated update thread should give investors and newcomers a quick and informative look at what's happening right now. it also aims to reduce confusion while increasing transparency

Guys, keep in mind Adam is doing something really good here. He is a supporter not the FUDder, many see him as. What he is bringing is the viewpoint of all the outsiders. The questions he ask are questions people interested and unfamiliar with BTSX will ask. That said Invictus needs to start investing heavily in proper marketing. A good product without good clear documentation and marketing would not prosper.

General Discussion / Re: BitShares X sales pitch, input welcome...

looking good so far!

and now for a few nitpicky suggestions :) - move the raven/mystique pic down below the 'Now real world currencies...' or 'In english...' blurbs. the first time I read through the post, i thought to myself "why am i looking at Raven right now???" and it became a lot more clear after the next 2 sentences

next, I think the * footnotes interrupt the flow of the pitch. here's an edit I made, i think it might flow a bit better:

Traders

It should go without saying that the privacy, freedom from confiscation and other advantages of trading on a blockchain will appeal to many of the hundreds of thousands of traders currently engaged in trading currencies, commodities and stocks all around the world.

In order to support such trading activities, BitShares X introduces TITAN - A brand new privacy feature which allows for fully secure, anonymous transactions, transferred to and from easy to remember user-created, account names.
