MemoryCoin / Re: [CMO] My Candidacy for CMO as a Team Leader
« on: March 05, 2014, 06:11:44 pm »
Asking again...
Please vote for "tomorrow" to replace me as I would like to get back to my own business which I've neglected lately.
Send 0.00000001MMC to MVTEcmosdhUoFCZkZ3T4zi14j1ZCogp2DM
Or use the voting feature in the wallet and choose MVTEcmosdhUoFCZkZ3T4zi14j1ZCogp2DM as your 1st preference.

I will still work for the coin as long as I'm elected, but I'd really rather that you choose tomorrow's team to get on the job.

Thanks again for the long time big support I got from you!!

As I told my opinions about you publicly before, I wasn't surprised that you will not work for the coin while you are not paid.
Glad to see a deadwood is eliminated. Hope we don't see you again.

MemoryCoin / Current status of translations on MemoryCoin.org
« on: March 02, 2014, 07:39:08 am »
I don't know who is responsible with the site right now but what's the current status of translations of MemoryCoin.org ?
I had uploaded all Turkish translations to the site before the new template. But now it seems most of it are gone. Hopefully, I have backups but it's somewhat frustrating to do the same work from scratch. So please restore from your backups of my translations or let me know if I have to.

Please, remain civil.

It is a democracy and let's not pussy-foot. I've seen several occurrences of candidates uselessly inappropriately offending each other.

yeah and I used my democratic right.

I didn't want stalemate taking this position as it would be very bad for the coin.

I think this feature is already available in Coinpayments but I just haven't tried it yet.
https://www.coinpayments.net/merchant-tools
Check POS Link & QR Code Generator. If you are a registered merchant there, you can see QR code generator. It's not seen if you are not registered.

Yes, you should be voting just like anyone.

bgaer: there's no way to establish a 1-vote-per-person system if you don't want to use something like postident...you can have as many personalities as you wish everywhere on the internet.

By the way, regarding my voting system for marketing team, each community member who would like to participate in project voting must verify his/her identity just like my developer team.

Thanks Brian. It's been a pleasure doing business with you. I was preparing your cashback offer and just saw your post here ;)
As for voting system mentioned in my post, it is all about project development for marketing. I thought developers in my marketing team should have a bigger vote weight than the community just to prevent a vast number of projects flying around. Thus, I decided a 70% for devs, might be 60% as well, I'll decide that when I'm elected.
As for MemoryCoin officer voting, I think it is a fair voting system in the long-term but I can't say the same for the short-term.
I think the main problem for MemoryCoin is pool hashrate distribution. Once, there was 1 pool with 90% of total hashrate, glad to see this percentage dropped a bit. Our new CNO, KillerByte was working hard on these issues lately and I'm sure MemoryCoin will continue its growth with developers, merchants and investors even though it is depreciated since its launch.

great to see you here, man! welcome to our forums.

Before I say yes - I would like to take a look at what your working on to make sure its something I am comfortable with - but I will definitly give it go.

I have been working with Python for about 3 years now - so I am pretty comfortable with it - however most of the work I do with Python is Hadoop/Big Data related.

Toss me an email and lets talk.   brian@briangaer.com

Thanks,

Brian

Well, the number of merchants is limited for now. In case of an increment of this number which I totally believe, you may need a better placement, maybe another tab (menu item/page).
Since a re-design of the official page is considered nowadays, I have no idea where to place merchant section for the future.

Hey seraphim, I think it would be better to list Coaex in a new "Stores" section below "Markets" on memorycoin.org when MMC payments are enabled cause listing Coaex in Markets is a bit confusing. There, you can add all the stores on CoinPayments accepting MemoryCoin such as Retrotowers, Cryptocoin Stuff, BitStickers, etc.

Here's a list of merchants accepting MemoryCoin now

Retro Towers - http://www.retrotowers.co.uk
Cryptocoin Stuff - http://www.cryptocoinstuff.com
BitStickers - http://bitstickers.net
meplus1 - http://www.meplus1.com
EC Habit - http://www.echabit.com

I'm checking this list time to time, can let you know once a store starts accepting MMC.
