MemoryCoin / Re: [ANN] Coaex - MemoryCoin Gold Exchange

No need to worry as this is an interim measure to protect both sides (customers and merchant). As for your information, noone had purchased with MemoryCoin still, there shouldn't be any effect on market value of the coin. I see some indication of stabilization today but that (5%) is still not enough. I expect around 2.5% gap between bid/ask.
In overall, this interim measure should take no more than 3 weeks. This will also make us observe the general market condition. In that time, I'll add more products and coins such as FTC, DOGE and maybe others. Just drop me a message if you would like to purchase with MemoryCoin, I can enable it for a short time.

MemoryCoin is temporarily disabled due to high gap between buy and sell value on Bter. In other words, it is disabled due to its depreciation at enormous rates right now - thanks to everyone who make it possible. This execution would take place if it was appreciated at similar rates, as well. We will enable it once the value is stabilized.

Just a feedback from a merchant perspective..
We noted on our FAQ page that adding a small fee when transferring MemoryCoin will avoid cancellation of orders. However, we see that "default zero transaction fees" lead to our customers' orders to be cancelled even though there is a time limit of 2 hours which I believe is high enough. In a recent order, a customer send the payment, after 2 hours the payment is cancelled and coins are returned back to customer's wallet. I don't think any merchant would like to request its customers to re-purchase their orders and I think not everyone is aware of transaction fees' effect when paying a merchant. Therefore, I request this "zero transaction fee" feature to be re-considered. In conclusion, MemoryCoin is not customer/merchant friendly coin right now.

Their profit margit is a bit high. Nonetheless, it will be much better than buymmc2 :)
Btw, see how poll works on MemoryCoin? Low community support when it comes to voting.
Not everyone will give you everything for translation :)

I've never expected translation services for these purposes, kiddo. My solutions have always been flexible and customer/entrepreneur-oriented.
In short, I have many different hidden skills you wouldn't believe! :)

I'm checking CoinPayments merchants time to time. Now I see Cryptocoin Stuff added MMC to its payment options.

To the attention of CMO, please read this post : http://www.cryptocoinstuff.com/2013/11/21/cryptocoinstuff/
I have very limited time right now, I request you do that task. So far I see, this guy is running a business which I suggested before. (apparel, stickers, etc.)
Contact the merchant from bitcointalk, let him know MemoryCoin community is here! Develop your networking.

That's a bummer.
I just don't have much MMC yet because I have only one system to mine with right now.
I was looking forward to getting some in the coming months.

Don't worry. You are in my mind. I'll also add a small amount to you proportionally to your order.

I'm losing confidence to MemoryCoin. The saddest thing is noone from this community supported its own merchant but that merchant sold its products with another coin. Coaex sold 0 amount of gold to MemoryCoin members in January from the start of its launch - even with escrow service. This was utterly the worst thing I've ever done in my life.
I was expecting at least a decent feedback for the work done (good, bad, not secure, etc). Yesterday, I sold a decent amount of gold via bitcointhrift in an hour after I post the auction. (and I felt that Coaex daily volume can easily past MemoryCoin daily volume.) Cryptothrift is an auction site with escrow service. I may or may not be scammed, even though the buyer looks legit, I don't know and I don't care the money I might lost as I will succeed in the long term. At least, someone recognized the effort and made an offer. From what I get from this community is always negative thoughts at first sight. It was first IsaacGoldbourne (we don't know where he/she is now), then Max, then itsik etc.. I wonder who'll be next, probably Isaac's ghost..
So what do you guys really do? You are losing your only merchant. Sadly, we will de-list MemoryCoin, soon. It seems so.
Don't think this as a threat - I'm not saying "We will delist MemoryCoin if you don't buy from us." I'm not forcing anyone to buy. could be bullshit.
I thought about this much and I'm already tired. Maybe much tired in recent days.
As you may notice, I change my mind too often. In my life, I took almost every decision very fast. Cut the dead arm, followed the right path.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it is too early but in a fast paced world and even in a fast paced cryptocoin world, I have to do that. I'm still unsure.
I may continue working for a little while. However, I have already contributed to this community but didn't get more than I give (I mean both materially and morally). That's the main reason why I'm pulling out.
In Feb, I will be mostly away - just run the shop with BTC and MMC still or maybe with more coins, add some products, will arrange some meetings with emre and salih face to face (buradan duyurayım). Will finish turkish translation in the earliest day - probably this week and will not work or post for the community for a couple of weeks.

First things first, get your mind out of geeky stuff! You are marketing officer, not a senior software engineer of MemoryCoin. As a chief marketing officer, you should be aware of your responsibilites and "manage people". It is the only position (except cha) that doesn't require lots of coding stuff.
Think how you can create incentives. As a simple merchant, I offered you that cashback thing today. Starting from this point, give incentives for Merchants (but not all of them blindly, use your funds wisely) to accept MemoryCoin in their stores. (and don't spam them - use a polite language, use email, introduce yourself properly, reveal your identity, your past work, establish trust mechanisms with them, or even work for them just like I did for CoinPayments etc.)
Or alternatively, you can vote for me :)
