Make sure you do AGS as per my post here: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=5526.msg73880

Seriously - this would be awesome if we made AGS liquid using BTSX.

I would like to test. And I am hesitant to import my private keys, unless someone from Invictus chimes in.

Send you 40 XTS.

Got it! Thank you!

Quick question - do I have to import my BTC/PTS private keys in order to use this system?

Also, if I do import it, is there a risk of this becoming the real net? i.e. should I be careful using my BTSX when running for delegate?

Is it too late to apply for being a delegate?

Bytemaster, this is not a guarantee. I could be a powerful market manipulator, and at some point calculate that I could take out majority of the market participants for a quick profit. At that point I could exploit the system and force people into margin calls and benefit from it.

General Discussion / Liquid AGS via BTSX?
« on: July 08, 2014, 09:02:19 pm »
What if... once BTSX is live, someone issues an AGS asset on the BTSX chain?

Someone, being Invictus, a delegate, or someone else, if this is still not satisfying the "regulatory environment".
But I can't see why it would be a problem, if it wasn't a problem issuing BTSX for AGS holders to begin with.

Once the donation period is over, he could just drop it there, couldn't he?

(Assuming there is a way in BTSX to issue/transfer asset to a holder of the private key)

I don't know about Simeon, but my buy back price would be at $16.3M and $12.5M market cap (given I still believe in the long term growth of the platform).

I still expect price to go way lower initially. Many people withdrew their PTS prior to the snapshot. So the BTSX being traded has an artificially limited supply. Once BTSX is really liquid (can be deposited/withdrawn from exchanges) we will likely see a temporary big drop. It is nice however to set the tone and advertise this high market cap. But don't forget it is really artificial.

Early investors are obviously big suckers. THX,

I do not know which part of them you find suckers –  one that sell cheap now or  one that are happy to have given their money back in Jan/February, while they could have bought their stake now at same/lower price?

I'm confused. How is it lower price? I bought in for 5BTC and my investment is now worth over 20BTC. May be the ones that bought at 28AGS/BTC are suckers, but that was not the norm, just deadline pressure. Keep in mind that AGS is not just the value of BTSX it will get a stake in other DACs as well.

Also to my knowledge trading is still not a part of the BTSX, so this is still somewhat hypothetical. There is still risk, but also an opportunity for speculators.

Don't beat yourself up, I'm sure there will be opportunities to get in at reasonable prices.

Also I wanted to share this as I think I'm not alone, and you guys are trying to predict prices. In fact I may even sell a % at a small loss in order to move into early ethereum and other more lucrative investments. My point is I won't be surprise if we don't even see a market cap of $15M for some time while people who have been waiting to cash out become liquid. Of course that will likely be a short lived drop and great investment opportunity for those who missed the boat.
