Clout, we don't have to agree - Would you like to trade?  250k BTSx for 5.625BTC?

Yes, I am purchasing on behalf of someone else. I will have the BTC tomorrow.

Hmm, okay.  Its a little odd that you make an offer for a trade then need to wait a day.  Why didn't you just wait til you had the BTC for the trade?

Its inflated because there are a huge number of people who felt trapped in Bitshares for much longer than they wanted to be, so i'm expecting as soon as you can easily move funds onto a market we'll see a lot of people cash out 10%-20% to BTC, which will depress the price quite a bit since Invictus hasn't done anything to market it, yet there's all this demand to get out.

It demonstrates confidence that I'm selling some?

Frankly I think the current prices are inflated, you cannot deposit BTSx at BTer so the market there is a very shallow pool.  The prices looked quite encouraging, and honestly the software does look very good.

Remember, i'm one of the longest-running supporter of the whole project :)  I took issue with decisions made along the way so far and the areas that were prioritized because it was more risky than the original plan.  I'm quite happy with the system so far.

clout, i'll take the other 250k of that deal.   I'll use escrow if neccesary but I think I have enough reputation to not need it.

Ok. I'll bite. I'm divesting BTSX. What price do you have for me?

I'll buy a million at 1 bitcoin satoshi a piece, so that would be .01BTC for 1,000,000 BTS

Good, or do you have a counteroffer?

I paid 2,341 to register LTBc - Is that high?  I really have no idea how to even value my holdings of Bitshares lol.

Hey Adam finally you have your Bitshare X wallet ... what do you do next ? Promote? Evangelized? Give some advice on newbies ?

I'm liking it so far.  Fast confirmations are fast, the user created asset interface looks damn solid and I like that it requires you to set a maximum cap and a issuance of nothing.

Ironically the privacy is a NEGATIVE for the development we're working on with the LTB platform.  We are working on something called Token Controlled Access that basically references an address the user proves to us they own, which then gives them access to content, forums, etc. based on their token holdings rather than the spending of it.

TITAN = global usernames, but we can no longer do trivially easy account lookups.

Balances don't really matter when every address floats unconnected in space, it was confusing to me because usernames seem like they would have the same thing but really the username is just a collection of addresses.  It really does seem to be "like the best bitcoin use case on privacy, but automatic and easy"

131
which is great because now we have greater privacy :)

how many BTSX you have?

Not enough - You?

Bitcoin worked for me

Question: If I look at somebodys username, do I see their account  balance as with bitcoin or only the TXs we've done together?  Can I look up account balances by username?

export your BTC / PTS private keys from the Bitcoin / Protoshares wallets. Then import those private keys. That's what I did, and I think it's the safest.

That said - BTSX is going to have a shitstorm to deal with if we don't start documenting in the Wiki how to perform basic operations, and include a playbook as to what to do in certain problematic cases. (Like the one run into for example)

I have to export my keys one at a time and import them one at a time?  What happened to "import your pts wallet"?

drag and drop the file into the "Wallet Path" textbox. If you are using windows delete the "file:///" from the path

where is the "wallet path" textbox?

bytemaster, is "import wallet" supposed to be selectable for me once my blockchain is updated?  It is not, and putting the wallet.dat in the appropriate place didnt work.

How do I onboard?
