MemoryCoin / Re: [CMO] My Candidacy for CMO as a team leader
« on: January 08, 2014, 08:36:05 am »
See my reply to robonix RE: MVTE addresses:

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2121.msg24971#msg24971

Give us a non-MVTE address to support you / your team / etc, along with an MVTE address.

That way, you can accumulate support over time at a non-MVTE address in addition, so there's no loss of trust traceability if the block awards move on to someone else...which they should over time.

Also - define and disclose your supporting team (if you don't have anyone, create your own positions and ask for staffing).  I'm starting to think we should build a 3-role evolving structure, like Master-Journeyman-Apprentice or General-Officer-Private for the roles...

G.K. Chesterton said the too much capitalism means too few capitalists, not too many.

Find / Work with a trusted sponsor, and a less trusted apprentice / assistant - Work on growing the chain of trust as you go.

MemoryCoin / Re: [CMO] vote for the robonix team
« on: January 08, 2014, 08:23:15 am »
I don't really like voting for individuals / organizations / usernames at MVTE addresses - only clearly defined projects / initiatives / etc...

Individuals don't get operating funds - that's welfare.  Projects and initiatives get operating funds.

Tell us your non-MVTE address and vote for your own MVTE address.

If I support your candidacy, I will vote for your non-MVTE address.

If I support funding of specific initiatives, I will vote for your MVTE address and/or donate until funding is complete (which could go on for a while, don't worry...).  We would expect status updates, etc.  If you need more community funding after that, create a new initiative.

MemoryCoin / Re: Officers - Work In The Open
« on: January 08, 2014, 07:46:32 am »
Well, I think a big part of the headache is that you are part of a DAC and are autonomous...you should be prioritizing work in your cXo roles for the community, but you will also need to act in all other roles for yourself.

CEO / CSO / CMO / CNO / CTO...these are all different "skill sets" that all users of crypto employ, but we're not all experts in all, or maybe any...and each probly has requirements on the others...

You're basically looking at distributed project management, which requires information exchange and change management back and forth on a sort of recursive distributed organization....my head hurts.

MemoryCoin / Re: Value of MMC Going down
« on: January 08, 2014, 07:32:26 am »

Long-term goal is low volatility with price approaching cost approaching electricity + 5% for MMC taxes.

Long-term use - voting.  If we can figure out that, community / Officers will steer us to the long-term goal.

What's the price of a vote? Nothing...  What's the cost of a vote? Transaction fees.

What's the value of a vote? What is the value of the information we attach to that vote. And, the blockchain provides ways to magnify the value of that information.

But...the vote's value is completely intangible.  Long-term, a cost of a vote could be no more than the transaction fees, which would approach electricity and other operating costs.  Filter those out by margin at the exchanges, and you're left with pretty whatever you can market the intangibles.

It's so cheap, distributed, uber-bland on its own, you kind of have to combine it with something else, and you can combine it with anything...

Isn't this kind of sounding like a reserve currency?

MemoryCoin / Withdraw CEO - Update Candidate List Request
« on: January 08, 2014, 06:48:09 am »
Updating wallets and addresses - my CEO address on the front-page is dead.

Plus, I'm thinking the "candidate list" should really be a "project list" and MVTE addresses should be considered a request for community funding..."at some point"

Not really ongoing operating support for a specific candidate...

I kind of see a network where the MVTE addresses flip "relatively" frequently to distribute operating funds...a "duty cycle" of sorts...

That seems good.

I'm also trying to figure out how to model / understand / track network isolation.

Seems like being able to demonstrate certain types of compliance at the final block may be of value.  From something as simple as say "no child of address X went to any child of address Y" to more complicated heuristics.

Good start, better than I'd do.

IMO, I would not have them control the MVTEcha address.  You make the address, and you control the wallet, tell the community what you would do, and send Satoshi from your past accounts.  MMC users trust you because of your past account history, not "whoever" made the brand new MVTE address.

Real-world charity makes a new MMC account.  You send it Satoshi.  You handle the MMC exchange between them.  Seems like this makes sense for how the trust chain would be passed on and not broken?

Yes, memorycoin - I guess you mean "move" to the new support / help boards?

(Thanks, didn't see those.)

MemoryCoin / MaxPWR Support Modules Updated
« on: January 08, 2014, 06:12:24 am »
I'm developing pwrcoin.blogger.com and requesting contributions to support marketing development.

I see a spiral of great projects ahead of us, one of which are a set of cartoon-ish evil characters which we could use to model valuation:

FreeTrade = Officers, Value, Good = Value - Costs
NewMine = Miners, Income, Required = Price - Costs
MaxPower = Exchanges, Growth, Necessary = Future Value

Long-term, could be used to educate children in finances and cryptocurrencies.  Mid-term, it's how we model valuation and/or speed-up development of exchanges.

Short-term, the labels don't matter. There's always three categories in classifications made by humans - past / present / future, father / son / mother, true / false / none of the above.  It's just how we use our multiple mental models to make valuations and reach decisions.

In fact, I kind of like the idea of the community subsuming the names away - best way to destroy their power in the present, keep their past value...why do you think we spread Satoshi around?

I'd like to continue developing and spreading some of these ideas, but I'm not a web or graphic designer / etc.  I'm looking to provide support as an author on a higher ranked platform to spread the message.

I'll be operating from: MAXPWRbxGMfUpHR4tVvzDdFtvhPcNRCABT
http://pwrcoin.blogspot.com/p/take-over-world.html

Please send donations of web development services and/or design.  Also accepting MMC for operating costs or Satoshi to indicate future marketing value.

I intend to spawn specific projects from that site, and assign them MVTE addresses.  Satoshi shall indicate future value.  If sufficient value accumulates, MMC community shall fund through operating costs.  Once project is complete, these addresses shall send Satoshi to a supporter.

Note: Most of my previous addresses have changed do to new wallets / etc...Check pwrcoin.blogger.com for up-to-date info.

MemoryCoin / Candidate Self-Labeling

Can we develop commonly accepted strategy classifications that cXo candidates are for?

For example, growth / value / income?

MemoryCoin / Cast Votes From GUI
« on: January 08, 2014, 05:17:42 am »
None of the above.

I'd say something between "social networking / media / graphics" meant for new MMC users - the user interface for the voting system.

Should be a "cast vote" button in -qt instead of so many zeros...

I'd then say ranking metrics, how trust works in negotiations, and industry standardization.

Would focusing on a standard desktop client rather than different web sites be quicker?

Bounties are for development.  Recommend modifying program to fund an exchange start-up.

Recommend BTC Oyate Project for consideration.  Possible work-sharing arrangements could be made with Sean's Outpost.

BTC Oyate Project is current priority for Evil Lab:

General Discussion / Re: Online Marketing/ User Information DAC
« on: January 07, 2014, 10:23:24 am »
Think about it from the other side - future value vs. cost.

What would websites pay if user ratings / preferences / reviews / etc stayed with them across sites...instead of cookies? Voluntarily given information and preferences from the user instead of forced cookies?

What would users pay if they could "program" a website to their liking...

Win-win?

I sent votes to CNO / CSO / CMO.  It's been a while but not showing up on chainexplorer or mmcvotes yet...I'll keep checking.

MemoryCoin / Re: What is in your mind the long term price goal of MMC
« on: January 06, 2014, 10:15:21 am »
Price is relative.  Can you eat bitcoin in the long-term?

Talk about value and possible uses.

I'll bet 5000 MMC that no one can bring me a better new application than the one that I'm thinking of right now.
