General Discussion / Re: BTS-->BTS X-->BTS ME-->BTS YOU-->BTS HIM-->?
« on: March 16, 2014, 04:40:42 am »
Is this the Roadmap of 3I development group?

BTS X was a compromise over BTS, BTS ME is a compromise over BTS X, what's next? Can you just make something working?

So far, it seems the only working product of 3I is PTS, which is technically no different from other thousands of altcoins.

Keyhotee has been advertised a long time, but neither of the basic two functions, decentralized communication and wallet, is realized.

BTS has been delayed many times, before BTS ME is introduced.

I now really doubt the development ability of 3I, because I've never heard any successful company that CEO and key developer are the same person.

I was a fun of 3I, now I am considering to quit.

BTS was never "compromised" to BTS X, they just renamed it to BTS X and let "BTS" be the brand name.

BTS X was never "compromised" to BTS Me, they were both in the pipeline and the order just changed.

Will you say BTS Me is "compromised" to BTS DNS if DNS launches first?

BTS X is the test version of BTS, right? Same,  BTS ME  is to test the bid/ask system of BTS X. According to this logic, we might need a BTS YOU to test some part of BTS ME, and we will never see any full version product. IMP, you need to release the software for testing, then modify it,  instead of making some new to test the old. It's an endless chain....  So, please focus on BTS X, don't spare the energy on something else.
BTS DNS is another story, it's not relevant.

General Discussion / DAC Game

Just like Huntercoin, could 3I support a DAC for new game?
It can be a crypto currency and a coin used in game.

MemoryCoin / MMC 0.8.581 .msi wallet error----ask for help
« on: February 02, 2014, 09:24:29 pm »
I downloaded the window .msi wallet, and synced it, and then created a new address by typing "getnewaddress" in debug window.  However,  the second time I opened the wallet, all the new created addresses disappeared. I tried many times, it seems that MMC wallet doesn't support multiple addresses for one wallet, is it correct?

General Discussion / Re: Confusion about BTS X trading system

Yeah, however you solve the normal exchange problem. Anywhere you have non-crypto equity connecting to your system, you have to deal with those problems.

Bitshares just solves the price of pegging an asset's price to some other asset's price.

So we will need some gateways to issue bitUSD, like ripple?  then will 3I be the biggest gateway or not?

  Thanks.

You use your paper USD or btc to buy BitUSD via regular exchanges. Then you can exchange BitUSD <-> BTS within bitshares X

That's for your reply, but you are repeating my question... where I can use my paper USD to buy BitUSD? by escrow? Then how to guarantee the security?

General Discussion / Confusion about BTS X trading system
« on: January 30, 2014, 02:59:18 am »
Let's say I want to buy some BTS using US $ on BTS X system, is that possible?
or
I want to buy some BTS when BTS X is launched, using US $, what's the procedure?  We know BTS X is decentralized, then how we can connect US$ with BTS? How to guarantee the security?

Bitshares X earn 5% or more on Ether

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What do you mean by saying that? Ether can be traded on BTS X?

They are peace of bet from every market move.

I like this.

BitShares provide a decentralized price feed. The only common point people all across the network have is that the "BitUSD" asset has the words "USD" in it. If someone wants to "attack" this price feed and cause it to deviate from real USD/BTS, and they don't have a large majority of BTS, the opposing market forces from the rest of the network are enough to push the price down and take money from the attacker, because everyone else has the choice of either "cooperate towards USD and make money if other do too" or "defect and hope to make money if enough people coincidentally defect in the same direction as you".

Toast gets a 1 PTS tip... this is an accurate description though it is can certainly be improved upon...  note this bounty pays for multiple answers...

I thought The Bounty was for an "analogy", not an explanation...
