I doubt BitShares ME, BitShares Play and BitShares Music is factored into the PTS price. Even the double announcement caused only a minor bump on the charts.

I agree with you.

There's a theory with stocks that you shouldn't bother trying to time the market because all the available information is already factored into the price. This may even be the case already with Bitcoin, but I've come to realize that this isn't the case with alts - there is too much going on, the landscape is too complex and there are too few people applying their knowledge for this to be true.  If you have some real understanding of what's going on, or what news is good or bad for a coin, even something as basic as the dates for a PTS distribution, the market price usually doesn't reflect it with any kind of speed.

I wouldn't take the market cap too seriously yet, the price was swinging around wildly in the past few hours. I think we were up to 7th in market cap at one point. Nobody has much liquid LTS to play with yet except some early miners and those accumulating at low prices. Small movements in price can translate to large movement in market cap. Though it is nice to get some exposure on the coin market cap site while price discovery is going on.

I can see my LTS in GST explorer where do I do to get my LTS, is there Bitcoin like wallet I need?

LottoShares / Re: Importing keys/wallet -> signed statement?

Yes I think Bitshares now has some more sophisticated ways to claim your distribution, so future DACs should be more secure.

With LottoShares, well we have what we have.

It's not required to create new wallets and transfer balances before claiming your LottoShares, but I recommend it as best practice. You're right though, currently this is not an option for AGS holders.

No, your wallet contains your private keys so importing it would bring the private keys with it.

You can check the balance of any PTS address here - http://lottoshares.42tx.com/

Just enter the address into the search box to check the balance.

LottoShares / Re: Request for a new implementation into LTS wallet

I think this is a more appropriate feature for a website rather than a core wallet function. The wallet actually doesn't keep a database of winning numbers/stats.

Emre? Maybe you can oblige. You should have all the info in your database.

Info on this here -
http://forum.lottoshares.org/topic/11/lottoshares-distribution

ProtoShares (10%)

10% of the shares were distributed to ProtoShares holders
All ProtoShares users received shares in proportion to their ProtoShares holding at block 65959.
For each ProtoShare you held at 31st May, you received 7.085 LTS
These shares cannot be used nor traded immediately. For each distribution address, the shares are split into tranches of 10,000 maximum and mature at a random date between 2 and 14 months from launch.

LottoShares / Hard Fork 10468 - New Dice Game - 0% House Edge
« on: August 12, 2014, 09:18:17 pm »
Okay, we've got a hard fork coming up at 10,468.

It is to support two new developments -

Dice Game - 0% House Edge
It contains a new dice game - with a variety of odds, and a 0% house rake.
(Don't play the dice game before block 10,500, it doesn't pay out for dice games played before that block)

Faster block times
It supports faster block times (down from 150 seconds to 40 seconds).

Please pull the latest code from github and re-compile.

Come'on FreeTrade tell us your thoughts.  You can't go around teasing like that.  Shame shame.

Well it is a problem that I've been ruminating on for months, and I have been working on a competing/complementary/co-operating lottery DAC. So maybe you can understand why I'm not ready to put it out there just yet.

If the wagers are secret until the user claims them that prevents delegates from excluding winning wagers.

I like this idea - it fixes the potential issue of delegates deep-sixing other people's jackpots.

Eureka!

Wow, what's that?
I think I've got it, but not sure what I want to do with it yet.

Wouldn't the jackpot just get awarded in the next block?

No, the winning draw would never be made public. No-one would be any the wiser.
