Technical Support / Re: BTSX from PTS donation not appearing in wallet

OK thanks - so can you confirm that I should have the 148k BTSX via my donation, is it in the GENESIS block?

Thanks.  Tried it with rescan set.  Does not seem to have helped but have "Transaction scanning progress is 0%" on bottom left of wallet - What is that and does it need to complete?

I imported the whole wallet.  I have noticed that you can get a successful import message with the wrong password but I tested the password with my PTS wallet first.
I made three donations on 28 Feb before midnight GMT.

Technical Support / BTSX from PTS donation not appearing in wallet
« on: September 12, 2014, 01:34:29 pm »
I have imported my PTS/BTC wallets into my BTSX wallet but only 2 of the 3 donations appear.  I can see the PTS donation on the Angel Shares Explorer - it says I should have 148k BTSX but they are not showing in my wallet?

BitShares PTS / Re: Guide to Cloud Mining Protoshares
« on: March 24, 2014, 11:22:44 am »
When I used your link I got the following message as part of the account verification:

"Thanks for your interest in bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining. As a public cloud we deal with a large amount of abuse and fraudulent activity specifically as it relates to mining. The financials of mining unfortunately do not weight in your favor in a public cloud. As we've seen, you will be spending more of your own money than the equivalent amount that you collect in cryptocurrency. There is of course the speculative nature of it, however the amount of money that has been invested by large players in the industry into specific mining rigs that are powered by GPUs rather than CPUs makes this cost prohibitive. Said another way, our cloud it not optimized for cryptocurrency mining.

In a cumulative way mining takes time away from helping other customers due to the fraud, economic unfeasibility, and time our support team spends dealing with mining related issues.  We therefore, strongly discourage mining cryptocurrencies on our cloud."

this statement is very clear now. By the end of last day of February 2014 at GMT time zone.

I'm still a bit confused - will it be the last block found in Feb (and confirmed later) or the last block confirmed in Feb?

Can confirm behaviours that others have seen.  Using Win7x64 and latest versions of 0.1.x and 0.2.x.  for 7850 and 7990 cards I use about 1% CPU with -t 0.  with -t 0,0 CPU increases to 50% and CPM is less than -t 0.  Also see miner using 500MB mem sometimes.  Not a big deal as am perfectly happy with results from -t 0.

7990: 3540cpm to 4480cpm = +27%,  algo 1&3 about the same
7850: 780cpm to 1070cpm = +37%  algo 1&3 about the same

wow!

Thanks, you both were right - it is showing now.

Is there any alternative to coinplorer?

BitShares PTS / Lost transaction?
« on: February 05, 2014, 10:19:08 pm »
I sent some PTS from my wallet - the wallet gives these details:

Status: 207 confirmations
Date: 05/02/2014 06:54
To:  Pchh7Nv8gRNKiLEUKHaCxBAso8nCvyNnhk
Debit: -10.84558035 PTS
Transaction fee: -0.06 PTS
Net amount: -10.90558035 PTS
Transaction ID: 870ddbbfea78f3dba1a56343b0c1972843c42cf1ddf01ae2ce9619d32a7424a8

But coinplorer does not show the transaction for the receiving address, it also says the transaction does not exist.  Can anyone please tell me what happened?

Here are some numbers of my cards:
HD 7850:  930 cpm
HD 7950: 1815 cpm
R9  270: 1115 cpm
R9 270X: 1265 cpm
R9 290X: 2535 cpm

It's very strange that my 3x Asus 7850 could just run with about 700 cpm, even less than your one card. I tried new driver, it still doesn't work normally. Could you please help me find the solution? My English is not very good, hope you could understand me!

Are you overclocking?  And more to the point is Schwede65?  May be it is not a like comparison.  I get 780 cpm on a standard 7850.

what about 1Gh or Ypool version ? :)
Thx ^^

Plus 1 for 1Gh version.  With other PTS miners my 7990 did 2000 cpm which is not bad, almost as good as a 6990.  With your miner it does 3500 cpm with only 8% more power usage - that's pretty awesome coding.
