General Discussion / Re: Exco.in - Innovative Cryptocurrency Exchange

I would suggest posting in general forum once you are ready to get votes. That subforum gets the most attention.

I have a rule regarding "predictions":

All claims about sufficiently complicated chaotic future are fraudulent. It's impossible to predict outcomes outside of one's immediate control. We just keep telling ourselves that we can guess the future because prediction is the primary function of the neocortex and it was evolutionary advantageous to make random predictions than none at all.

I can guess a future with 100% accuracy until the mold is broken.............If btc is falling then ltc will fall and most alt coins. Only a onzie twozie alt coin will perform against bitcoin.

Why? In order to cash out you have to go through bitcoin which makes bitcoin the index. If you watch S&P 500 you will see that even the best performing stocks will pennant off when a bad drop is happening to the index.

If you ever see bitshares or some other 2.0 coin clearly go up against bitcoin going down then my prediction will no longer be valid. Till then, btc rules them all.

General Discussion / What happened to the New Beginning thread?
« on: October 23, 2014, 02:43:35 pm »
at 6am this morning there was a thread explaining invictus's plan to decentralize themselves by breaking down into their own companies. was this false?

Wrong topic. Why tie PTS, DNS and VOTE all together?

I think only PTS should enjoy the immediate liquidity, while all other types including AGS, DNS, and VOTE, should have a locking period, since DNS and VOTE don't even have primitive products yet. Even though DNS is liquid right now, it is no more than a future promise. But I do think that DNS was undervalued at 3% valuation. 5% sounds more reasonable.

Even though DNS and VOTE don't even have primitive products yet, 2 years is too looooooong~~~. So my proposal is :

DNS start 30%,
VOTE start 30%,
PTS start 100%,
ags start 0%.

Translated

I have a F$%k ton

General Discussion / Re: Glad I got out of bitcoin...

BTC is the index of crypto. If a few coins cause the index to go down then the index causes all the coins to go down. Also, the amount of money it takes to cause a downtrend like this for as long as it has been happening is too high to be contributed to one thing.

General Discussion / Re: Trello Grassroots Organization Marketing
« on: September 15, 2014, 09:34:56 pm »
could you get into contact with "MktDirector" (aka Brian Page) .. pls

thanks for letting us know

Brian has 0 interest in grass roots marketing. The last time I mentioned this he let me know how successful his "pr guy" is with google search hits. He does not value grass roots high enough to spend time on it like he does his other marketing initiatives. (good or bad? not my call) This will have to be something that the community does on its own.

Sorry, I exited my position today. Either going to do the smb training program or pay off my truck and buy a ring for the girl. My dump was only 11.8ish btc. That isn't what caused this downslide but it did contribute :(

"Ethereum
eMunie
NXT

I would probably add Bitshares given its popularity to the list but I haven't read the whitepaper yet."

The above is an example of why grass roots marketing is important. I pulled this from the thread that has the voting. It is a shame that this is being considered alternative marketing :(

General Discussion / Re: Is Anyone Still Holding Bitcoin?
« on: September 11, 2014, 01:00:31 pm »
btsx has been the best trade I ever made. I put in .6btc at the right time (the cost of .6btc was $400.) I got 144,300ish btsx. I later sold others to be all in at 166,300 btsx. Not a HUGE amount but definitely a change for me!

General Discussion / Re: bitAsset to Asset - Completing the Circle

This was similar to what I was trying to say in a previous post. People were not very receptive. That may have been due to wording. Hopefully people understand this better and can make it happen.

File Transfer Protocol. It is usually used for downloading/uploading files.

Does bitcoin use FTP at all? If so then can you list out what actions it would use FTP for?

hopefully this opportunity is not being ignored unless there is a good reason.
