Great website to put chains into real perspective, not speculative market caps.

I do wonder if it's pulling all of BitShares Ops/block.  I would expect it to be doing more OPs compared to Steem.  Looking at cryptofresh.com/charts there are endless amounts of OPs that take place each block...

Technical Support / Re: A Way to Check Withdrawl Status?
« on: November 12, 2017, 11:45:07 pm »
Just to clarify, BitShares is the main blockchain/exchange however you withdrew ETH through a gateway, in this case OpenLedger.  They are the only ones who can answer the question about the delay.  I would not worry, OpenLedger has been a very stand up quality company.

93
Great news!

How will you coordinate work with Alfredo?

@xeroc my comment about including OpenLedger is the way I read this proposal is a fund for joint marketing with exchanges, @bitcrab & @callmeluc please clarify this.

From the original post "For instance, the yoyow team spent 2 million yoyo to launch the joint marketing activities with Binance Exchange on November 7th, which has achieved extraordinary results. On the day of the event, the trading volume soared over 1400btc, Baidu Index increased by 200%, and WeChat Index even astonishingly skyrocketed by 2070%."

If this is the case we should also include existing exchanges such as OpenLedger since they have been such a pillar in this community.

@callmeluc and @bitcrab thank you for the additional information.

If we are looking at joint marketing with exchanges I feel it would be best to also include OpenLedger as they have been supporting BitShares from the beginning.

The more details about each individual campaign should also be explained so we can judge before and after to see if the funds were worth it.

1.8m is a lot of BTS.  I only see a general overview, are there any more detailed plans around the marketing?

We've tagged a pre-release. Upgrade at your own risk, preferrably non-critical systems first.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Compliance Work
« on: October 19, 2017, 02:18:02 am »
Echoing Thom's words above, your comment about being under NDA from Bittrex comes across in all the wrong ways.  Asking for 25k without talking with the community to get BTS re-listed?  Why should the BitShares shareholders pay 25k for a company to not publicly disclose their reasoning behind delisting BTS?

At this point, why not put 50k into OpenLedger who has been a big asset to BitShares since day 1?  At least they are open and honest!

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Compliance Work
« on: October 17, 2017, 06:49:45 pm »
You seem to indicate compliance is why exchanges such as Bittrex dropped BTS.  Have they made an official statement this is the case or was it some other technical issue they were having with the blockchain itself etc...?

Blockchain compliance is such a grey area at the moment where different jurisdictions will always have different requirements.

Can you list any current compliance issues that need to be addressed?
How are those currently effecting the Bitshares ecosystem?  (are businesses trying to utilize BitShares but are turned down by the local .gov that we don't know about?)

Your milestone bounties sound great.  Having BitAsset on/off ramps would be well worth the cost.

Where is the develop branch located on github so we can see the commits etc..?

Thanks again for your hard work making BTS better!

General Discussion / Re: Why BitShares is being delisted from Bittrex?
« on: October 14, 2017, 03:55:37 pm »
Almost 2 hours from the last trade, looks like it has been halted.  Still a decent amount on the order book so I can only hope Bittrex will re-think why they are dumping the BTS market.  Could be something with the code such as:
https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares-core/issues/411
https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares-core/pull/412

103
Thanks for the update.

-Any idea how 3rd parties are notified about changes such as issue 411/412?  This could be a reason why Bittrex delisted BTS?
-Will you come up with a release schedule such as bi-weekly or monthly to provide new versions with all these fixes?

104
Great, thanks!

I'm not aware of anyone else still testing, nor have I received any negative reports.

I'll start preparing the mainnet release now. Preliminary hardfork date is 2017-11-27 15:00 UTC, unless anyone comes up with a convincing argument that this is a bad choice.

Why 1+ month away for the hardfork?  Continued testing or simply want to get the witnesses on board?

105
Thanks for the update PC.  Any know if this information was sent to Bittrex?  Could be why they are going to delist BTS on the 13th?
