What is it with using a mess of a website bitshares.org as the main point of referral when a wonderfully designed clean cut template in http://bitshares-x.info already exists.

Everything with http://bitshares-x.info is better, the design to the marketing language; however it's not to be found via a google search but rather through direction from a vague forum post.

My advice, swap them around!

Check out this thread from bitcointalk where bitshares is being discussed . A lot of positive feedback on the technology but a general feeling that the website is destroying us.

Thoughts? Where is the marketing budget going?

http://maxborgesagency.com/

Max Borges Agency is a PR firm interested in this technology. They might not understand it as well as Dan/Bytemaster but who does? They seem to understand Blackcoin well enough to handle PR for that community so why not contact them and find out what they can do for the Bitshares community?

The Blackcoin price has been going up recently and so far Max Borges Agency has had a good start.

Also they were willing to accept some of their payment in Blackcoin which is a really good sign in my opinion.

That's actually really cool, and also a great PR move by the firm. It reflects very well on Blackcoin that a legitimate institution (outside of crypto, even better) has enough faith in the product to accept Blackcoin as if it were cash! I wonder how much of their payment is actually in Blackcoin? even if it is an insignificant number, they can still truthfully make the statement so it probably doesnt matter too much

outsourcing PR to an agency as luckybit suggested, or even meeting with a consultant for a while and hashing out some processes to use in the future could be a good choice while you guys build the capabilities to do it yourselves

Quick question though, what does the I3 actually stand for?
interestingly I3.com is already registered, have a look... otherwise imagine i3.com as the go to DACS website... could it be changed to I2 I4 or other... whats the significance of the 3?

wow i like your design and your professional approach. If you need a designer for logo sub bounties, pls don't hesitate to contact me! ;)

Cheers cass

I would be very excited to see a collaberation between Cassiopaia and Itnom. Cass's logo work it amazing. So iconic yet minimilist. I can see the i3 symbol/tag being synonymous with cryptocurrency technology DACS in much the same way the apple logo is identifiable with quality IT products.

One point however raised previously and a concern reiterated by bytemaster is the reliance on scrolling on all submissions so far. This needs to be stopped and a browsing style focusing on clicking used instead. I am using an ipad and ipad mini with easy touch scrolling and am still of the opinon that content is lost by scrolling.

Keep up the good work..

a minimal concept of III logo ... apple like

I personally don't think we should use "Innovations Inc." on logotype.

INVICTUS IS A STRONG "BRAND" NAME WE SHOULD COMMUNICATE  THIS

Why I3 ? You can see it here :) ! We can easily use our branding on forums etc.
3 also Symbol for our fast growing company and amazing community team behind.

I don't know where to post this exactly, so i post this here. Cause i can't participate on website, but logo task perhaps?

Let me know what you think

These are fantastic. Extremely professional and iconic. I think the stand alone Invictus works well.

any news on this!? The community result of voting says no to the new PTS logo, but on protoshares.com
website the new one is used. Is the voice of the community not important!? Feedback appreciated...

Great thread! Protoshares you've got your trio, Dan, Brian and Domsch!
Now to explain DACS to the masses...and to buy more PTS/AGS before the masses arrive...

There seems to be a lot of scrolling on the invictus.io current template. Would be nicer to have the info displayed more simply I less scrolling and more clicking where necessary.

Guys just a quick point, i dont have a technical background so i'm not sure if this will be possiblt within the initial spec but I noticed on opening the protoshares website on my ipad that the width wasnt customised for ipad viewing so the page opened with missing borders on either side. Could this be addressed for the Invictus website?

Agreed.

With the advent of AngelShares, the BitShares community should have the resources to upgrade to first class.

Watch for our new million dollar bounty program!

Invictus is proud to announce AngelShares your route into the world of cryptocurrency.
Heard of Bitcoin? Want to invest in the future of money? Then read on..

AngelShares provides a groundbreaking opportunity for grassroots investment in peer-to-peer money transfer technology. Following the advent of Bitcoin we at Invictus have been working hard to bring cryptocurrency into mainstream adoption.
The unprecedented success of our own cryptocurrency- ProtosharesTM has paved the way for development of new payment technologies; cryptocurrency exchanges and decentralised banking concepts.

Angelshares is a new crowdfunding initiative designed to raise funding for development of these technologies.
Starting with Keyhotee: a secure, financial communications network and Bitshares: the first decentralised peer-to-peer bank; Invictus means to raise $4 million USD in the first quarter 2104 through mining and distribution of Angelshares.

Each day starting from the 01/01/14 10,000 shares will be up for grabs with Angelshares divided out proportionally according to individual contributions on the day.
Each day brings a further 10,000 AngelShares and an equal opportunity for you to snap up a share in the future of cryptocurrency.
This method has been devised to combat monopoly holding allowing widespread adoption of Bitshares thereby developing a strong community from its conception.
For more information on how to get involved and to hear more about decentralised banking visit www.protoshares.com/angelshares

BitShares PTS / Protoshares marketing "WTF is a DAC?"
« on: December 28, 2013, 02:54:38 pm »
As an avid Protoshares supporter I'm of the belief that in order to attract people to the brand we need to keep things as simple as possible.
Since the release of PTS anyone with a little knowledge of cryptocurrencies could find PTS on coinmarketcap and infer from that, that PTS was another cryptocurrency.

However from there things get unnecessarily complicated.
Those with enough understanding will know that PTS offer much much more than just another altcoin.. those with enough understanding will likely have put time and effort into the forum and developed an understanding that evolved..
The point is... we should be the minority if PTS is to be a success!

Lets look at the current situation.. Aside from PTS and BTS now theres:
-angel shares
-luckyshares
-memory coin
-Keyhotee
-DACS

Things are far from easy to understand... especially for the regular punter who's heard of Bitcoin and looking for the next big thing..

Have a look at an inferior competitor in Globalcoin.. have a look at their website.. their explanations.
http://www.global-coin.net/

Compare this to our website explanations..
http://www.protoshares.com/index.html

Ask yourself 2 questions:
What is Protoshares?
What is Globalcoin?

Which is easier to understand!

Warren Buffet's first rule of investing needs to be considered here
‘Never invest in a business you cannot understand.’

How can we expect anyone without a technical background to invest in DACS as things stand?!
Lets not let the competitive advantage we have get lost in inferior marketing.

So to clarify the outcome of this thread. Has invictus now secured both bitshare dot com and bitshares dot com. Excellent step if this is the case as a quick google of bitshares will explain why..
