Keyhotee / Re: Too late for Founder's ID?
« on: December 28, 2013, 07:01:00 am »
Damn, I though we had until new years. I was really hoping to get in on that, even emailed asking about my name. I should have done it earlier I just was waiting for no good reason. I hope I can still get the name I was hoping for once Keyhotee comes out.

If anyone who tried was unable to get a Founder's ID due to even a tiny or perceived screw-up on our part, just explain the problem in an email or PM and I'll fix all our mistakes before locking it down.

(I know its hard to believe but I've fixed six such mistakes already!)   :o

Actually now I'm a bit nervous, I haven't seen a confirmation that my id will be in the genesis block. I'll pm you.

"I...came to the conclusion you did."

I'm watching NXT at the moment and it's exciting to see an entirely PoS system, or at least will be when they allow people to see it... Though that's very interesting and may indeed be all it takes to overcome Bitcoin the fact that NXT are pre-mined is a huge hurdle to overcome. I'm not going to dismiss NXT but I'm not going to buy early either.

It's getting hard to keep up with the innovations pouring out of the crypto-financial scene.

I think people may need to adjust their expectations a little. Protoshares is less than two months old, Bitshares doesn't even exist yet. Most people are under the impression that protoshares is just another alt-coin, it will take some time for that to change even with brilliant marketing.

Unfortunately I'll be engaged in wage slavery ;)

I did meet you briefly in Atlanta where I got interested in Keyhotee and Bitshares, I'll see you at another conference eventually!

I hope for all our sakes you bought the most expensive PC on the planet :)

Grats.

favedesu has a good track record for being a trustworthy escrow. If you're willing to use an escrow, I'm willing to deal.

@liberman, Protoshares are quite special! Haven't you noticed the rise of it, yet? It will (IMHO) surpass Bitcoins in value, hopefully, IF things keep going the way they're going!

Protoshares are not only a Bitcoin-like cryptocurrency, it's far beyond that! Right now I'm broke as hell, but if I had at least $5,000 I'd definitely inject more money into III! I promise you, if you're patient enough, you'll be more than happy with what you can get from these projects!

I have major first world problems, I don't know how much of my bitcoin holdings I should transfer to PTS. Woe is me.

PTS is doing great, happy to see it break the 10$ mark. Should only go up from here while supply deceases and difficulty goes up. Holding onto my PTS for now, my only regret is not being able to have had more due to my small budget. Sitting on 2000$ worth of PTS feels pretty good especially when it was a 15$ investment.

Mined some on my crappy laptop from a motel room, didn't even pay for power!

I did buy some more though, I'm definitely holding these.

It's unfortunate that this is so important. I do believe Bitshares and Keyhotee are good enough to sell themselves in the long run, like bitcoin has but the sooner the better.

You all have it easy... I have to work to make this happen!   No pressure or anything... lol

If you ever need a power plant operator I'm your guy! Other than that....I can't really help much :(

I'm damn glad I saw your presentation in Atlanta, too many others are focused too much on bitcoin. I want to see what else can be achieved with these magic crypto powers and would hate to miss the boat.

Well you can try your skills if you like, it's a skeptical crowd but overall tech savvy. These guys are the target for early adoption.
