Hi Ronny , this is not about ether or bitshares really and its not about a particular currency either. There is a growing trend around the world among communities to develop alternative means to accomplish exchange between members of society. In that respect right know the most prevailing idea is that exchange should start by giving, that is not the same as giving a token or digits. Doing something for a member of society and recording that so you will receive something back when you need. Scarcity is not a viable option in their system because scarcity takes individuals hostage. In this system the moment someone does something for someone his account status becames - minus until he recieves from another member of society. This model naturally creates islands of community currency systems . Like WIR, BrixtonPound or timebanks.
