Hi Ronny, last year I signed up for ccedk. Is my account still active?

No, you should use the fiat gateway on OpenLedger if you like, CCEDK is no longer an exchange but more an information portal.

If I have BTS in Poloniex, how do I send it to my Openledger account? to me is not quite clear what address and how to use the memo. Thanks!
@Fiazk
The address is your account name. Example, if your account name is the same as in this forum, the "address" is "fiazk". As for the memo I don't know but I don't think it's really needed because you're sending to your account. If you send TO poloniex you might need it but not for your own account I believe. So try sending a small amount to your account name first just to test it.

Memo is usually optional. You might only need it to if you deposit on exchanges so they know they should deposit on your specific account and not on other member's account.

Got it, I just did. Thanks for the help! and it worked perfectly

@Fiazk
No problem. Don't forget that if you decide to deposit on exchanges, they might require the memo field to be filled though. So pay attention to that.

There is no way to deposit BTC directly into BitShares yet. The reason for it is that BTC in BitShares/OL is an DERIVATIVE and not the "real" bitcoin.
I would recommend you read the whitepaper to find out more:
http://docs.bitshares.eu/bitshares/papers

Just like on any other exchange. Users get IOUs and their bitcoins are on the exchange's wallets.

I can deposit open btc, trade btc to openledger.info account directly! But I could find the way of depositing my BTC to BTC in my account! So I can trade BTC /BTS , no need to trade openbtc or tradebtc to BTC then trade BTC/BTS since openbtc/ BTC or tradebtc/BTC volume is no much for me to easily convert them to BTC
