announced on github and the usual news outlets.

Great! Then it's easy to create a link to one of the announcements and place it at www.bitshares.org/wallet to make the request to move to a new address more legitimate.

In any case, the button to create a backup on that page doesn't work, which is the real problem. It appears clickable but then doesn't do anything when clicked.

The web-wallet migration to https://wallet.bitshares.org appears scammy.  I suggest a link be added where discussion of this change or announcement of the change took place with trusted community members participating in the discussion.  It feels strange, having not logged into the wallet for a couple of weeks, to navigate to the familiar address and be requested to upload a backup with password to another website.

That said, the landing page has a button to create a backup which does not work.  Clicking on it does not create a backup .bin file.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
