below is a screenshot of the blocked selling box, it even has my litecoin balance there, do I need to have bitshares already in order to sell litecoins for bitshares??

Hi everyone, I'm new to the bitshares platform.

I have deposited about 25 litecoins into my bitshares account through open ledger and can see it in dashboard assets in my wallet.

However when I try to sell it in the exchange the box which lets me sell is inactive. How do I go about selling my litecoins? Do I need a bit of bitshares first as a fee? If so how can I buy some if all I have is litecoin atm.

Lastly the send, deposit, deposit(beta), withdraw gateway is also blocked off in the wallet's drop down menu. Do I need existing bitshares to use them as well?

I hope I can get some help in these matters
