pls let me know if you are going to include those PTS in the AGS or return them.

We will return them to anyone who requests it via info@bitshares.org

We can't change the recommended AGS definition that developers use to read the chain between the pre-defined time-tags.

hm I see, thanks :)
would be a pity though if those weren't counted, should've put a warning on the site to send the funds at least 3hrs before end :-\

The PTS network has a difficulty that is too high at this moment (or a hash rate that is too low, depending on how you look at it).
That is why the transactions aren't fast and that when a block is found transactions from the previous hours are included, hence the same timestamps.

I think you should consider a latecomer those who obviously sent after the end of the funding window, but it seems there are several payments which arrived at the exact same time of 12:14:01 AM, two of which are mine and I sent them about two hours before the counter ended. Why is there such latency, and I'm not technically savvy in this, but why do so many payments have the exact same timestamp? (I had to switch wallets so it also took like 10 min between the two payments)

It seems that a few donations were stuck in the pipeline and got recorded the next day - outside the eligibility window ending on the 18th.  And somebody keeps donating 0.25 PTS daily to this very day...

I suppose the least problematic fix is to just refund these latecomers...

I also have the same problem, donated 14 PTS on the last day and it shows the amount donated correctly, but it says AGS obtained 0.0 AGS!

The tool does give my address a balance

0.001% of the ags allocation (200 total 50% ags 50% btc, +- 0.001 balance on that address).

So it looks like everything is alright and agsexplorer is bugged?

No, he means AGS explorer is not showing his balance correctly.

What about the tool? http://bitshares.org/resources/genesis-blocks/

By the way that tool doesn't seem to work. - It should probably cache some default scenarios instead of compute them on the fly.

e.g. most new DACS will probably want the final snapshot. Then you can pre-calculate downloadable links for 10%/10% 20%/20% etc.

Do not use this post as information for making any important decisions. The only agreements I ever make are informal and non-binding. Take the same precautions as when dealing with a compromised account, scammer, sockpuppet, etc.
