Yeah, I guess the big questions in my mind might be things like

- Do we like the idea of integrating IRCCloud into the web wallet?
- Should it be hidden by default and shown in the nav only when connection info is provided in the settings?
- Should we actually first work toward a plugin architecture so this functionality could truly be off by default?

@kaibakker, of course we wouldn't be putting this functionality into the BitShares protocol/blockchain, but I think it would be most useful integrated into the web wallet application.

This is a great idea, but i think we Should do this without the bitshares development team. It Shouldnt go via the bitshares protocol, fork the client and See how it moves from there

Most of trollboxes that I've seen introduce some limit.. BTC-e I think you need a balance etc. Perhaps limit to users with ?10+ posts to see only those who are bots or spam.

I've never used a trollbox but I assume it's something people do when watching live charts on an exchange. Since bitshares.org doesn't have charts the trollbox would be best suited for the client itself (and web wallet of course).

If you go to bter or btc-e or cryptsy, the thing they all have is a trollbox.

This is why wallet.bitshares.org should have one:

-They allow new users to help each other with the basics.
-They give the impression of activity.
-They are fun and make people want to stick around when they are not trading.

We have a great website that almost looks just like a regular crypto exchange, except it has no trollbox.

Back when we used to do mumbles, Bytemaster was asking for ways to make BitShares fun. I think this is it :)

Even though I dislike the trollbox (not just the name) .. I see a need for it :) .. but let's make it hide-able, and connect to IRC ..
