This is a mandatory update, if you are not update your wallet to version 0.23 before block 142.000 it will cause your wallet to fork.

This is what I'm seeing. $BTS and $QORA had the largest change in the last 24 hours. I'm thinking it's because of the QORA/BTS pair on CCEDK

The volume in the qora is $31.  That means it didnt move.

Seems like Qora/BTS ratio stayed the same, and what you are seeing is that BTS is up 50%.

How do you join the slack group?  Its saying it doesn't recognize my email and I must be invited by the team admin.

I can't get the wallet to function reliably.  I've tried on 3 different computers  windows and linux . 

It seems ok for a moment but moving from tab to tab it eventually bogs down and freezes.

It syncs up but left to itself it invariably loses connection and gets stuck.

I've started from scratch dozens of times and its the same result every time.   I was hoping to get it to forge blocks but with all the above issues its not happening.

I like the possibilities, but currently the wallet is pretty terrible.  Maybe its just me though.

You may need to adjust some java settings and/or update java. Stop by the Qora slack and ask a Dev for some help if you like.

Found it. It seems like more of a chatroom than a forum though. I'm a little lost because I've grown accustomed to doing a large part of my due diligence for a crypto in their forums.

I have tons of noob questions about this chain.

Qora used to have a forum, but no one used it. Right now they are building a decentralized social media, so that is where the focus is. You may see a forum of sorts on the blockchain one day along with a Youtube, Reddit, Dropbox, etc. They already have a Facebook.

The community is a small group of longtime hodlers, a bunch of new devs and whoever's purchased in the last few months. =)   There's never really been much of a marketing effort, it's more of a, "here's our badass blockchain, stick around if you like", situation.

I downloaded the qora client and gave it a shot. This convinced me to grab a handful from ccedk, where I now have a deposit pending.

The thing that stood out to me most was the complete lack of any kind of forum. Perhaps this is built into qora itself on their decentralized internet?

From what I've been reading tonight, QORA has a lot of potential but it strikes as completely lacking any kind of community, or am I overlooking it?

I figure 12 satoshis is a good price to buy a couple litecoins worth. With a market cap of what, ~200,000 there's SO much room to grow. I would say they need to implement a forum asap.

What exactly is the naming service? I found the decentralized web browser and server, but how do I go about accessing this social network?
