Sparkle was originally intended to be PoW, not DPOS. That was the whole point: bitshares functionality on a PoW chain.

Something tells me Sparkle is DOA.

1.0 will ignite the great clone wars though  8)

Or will it... what if 1.0 was licensed for use with BTS only?

If you're talking chains using DPOS:

pts
play
music
crypti
sparkle
cointum
pebblecoin
ron paul coin

And a few considering:

copperlark
darkcrave
feathercoin

Probably a few I don't know about as well.

Might be a few known projects.. but anybody can download the tool set and operate without anybody knowing it if they wanted too.. and rightly so as far as privacy goes.

What's been mentioned is about all that comes to mind as known projects. I have heard of others say 'waiting till 1.0'

Pretty sparse from what I can tell...
Bitshares pts
Sparkle soon?
Feathercoin soon?
Note maybe?
Devshares

Not totally sure what you mean by dpos companies... The above will or already have their own unique blockchain.  There are companies like dacx that use bitshares as their trading platform. Bunkershares is also a project that uses uia's on the bts platform.

Would you say Crypti is a competitor to BitShares?
They obviously use DPOS, so... what do you think? Or maybe Moonstone would be their competitor?

Well I think they're trying to do the same as we are, using DPOS, but in a different platform and maybe through a different method/philosophy (didn't check their project yet), which I think it's positive So yeah, competition maybe. Friendly competition since we're all trying to achieve the same goal and not trampling each other I think

I need to know about every DPOS-based company out there like the BitShares DAC. Companies that are decentralized like us and use DPOS.

If there isn't a formal list yet, can you name the DPOS companies here that you know of?
We're building something for BitShares that is pretty big, but part of this business plan requires a list of all the dpos platforms and companies, etc. Other companies that have (voted-in) delegates (and hopefully soon dpos2.0).

Please and thanx for any that you can name here...
