The latest news I know is that BM said the original goal of public testnet should be completed by the end of June.
Anyone knows what is the status of developing?

I  believe Stan said bm was asking everyone what they needed to have the testnet released by end of last week. I guess it didn't happen though. Hopefully it is released by tomorrow since that will be 1 month since the bts 2.0 announcement

AFAIK devs are close to pre-alpha stage which would be an internal testnet ..

seems the "official"(tm) timeline is off by maybe 2-4 weeks or so ..

would bts2.0  have mobile apps ?

Nah, who needs that? I'm prettysure Bitshares will require custom hardware terminal that costs $30k, a $5k/yr certification from Cryptonomex and an FBI background check.   /s
No need to be sarcy, we all speak different languages and sarcasm is hard enough to follow via text anyway :)

Yes, sudo, there will be mobile apps. Once the Graphene (2.0) code is ready I'm sure plenty of 3rd parties will get to work to earn their referral income profits from building a mobile wallet

yeah, what about that limewallet that has been going on for quite a while? i hope delegate pay was used for something, don't want to seem ungrateful btw,
I get what you're saying but I think this is the wrong attitude.
Limewallet was in the limelite before I got here so I'm uninformed of their situation but 'ungrateful' and 'hope' should instead be demanding to know where our organizational funds are and whether or not a particular party deserves continued funding

I know, I just don't want to be bitching before I know all the facts, maybe they did something, however there is clearly a lack of communication.

Last update on Limewallet was in May:

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,11902.0.html

I would imagine shortly after that the 2.0 bomb dropped and they are figuring out what to do next.

Nonetheless.. I agree there are a lot of different ways mobile apps can be created to use bitshares.

yes, however we are in the first week of July so i hope they did something in that period of time. I would just like to know what.
