Bitcoin works the same way.

You can see all your addresses (including change addresses) by using "listaddressgroupings" in the debug console.

danielauhlig:
really how do i know what these addresses are and how does that explain that when i send 50 pts shares 79.8 show up in angelshares. why do they not go back to the address where they came from?

Sorry about the "doubled" transactions, there is a bug in the database I use (if interrested, look at https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/SERVER-5931); I made a fix for this.

--- End quote ---
Coinplorer is correct here, just have a look to the transaction ("see trx" link): https://coinplorer.com/PTS/Transactions/efae002a09aeac6883f3ff516e5af2f528b4a2b37333774102b52bbc8e7ea66e
Your wallet created a new address for the change, to 79.45 effectively went out of your address Pmo1PVn3iqHBKP8bdJR9kAdsdrRkWBEsW7, but you got 29.45 PTS back to another address (possibly hidden by your wallet). I hate those hidden things too...

Best wishes for 2014.

I have the same thing happen to me.  I send using a certain wallet, and now I find it was using a public address I have no idea I have.  I can't associate that address with my wallet.  Do you think I would still get my ags?

You wallet (if you are using ProtoShares-Qt or Bitcoin-Qt) has hidden addresses from change that you do not see, but you still control.
