In the original article (http://www.kommersant.ru/doc/2811063) it says that Qiwi "is going to use blockchain technology used to power Bitcoin payments network or Bitshares technology that can be described as decentralized cryptocurrency exchange". Blockchain and bitshares technologies are mentioned together in the article, so probably by bitshares author means a technology to issue shares on the blockchain, it might be not related to BitShares directly.

  • BitShares: akado
The fact the word bitshares is not spelled correctly like BitShares and is between "" "" makes me thing they might not be talking about us. But if they are these is awesome  +5%

He talks about launching the bitRubble cryptocurrency but haven't we launched it already? It has extremely low volume but it's there. It exists.

Edit: yeah, mostly sure they're not talking about us!

[sic] Sic in square brackets is an editing term used with quotations or excerpts. It means “that’s really how it appears in the original.”

Check this:

Developers will spend a year to find the solutions for any technological problems that BitRuble may face in future. Solonin explained that the company plans to add several elements of blockchain technology or “bitshares” [sic] to the Qiwi system as early as the beginning of 2016

The Head PayPal’s Russian branch Vladimir Malugin stated that blockchain and “bitshares” technology might have a lot of potential for the fintech market.
