I would say avoid closed-source systems altogether, especially from companies like Microsoft whom we know historically have been more than helpful to betray their customers data to certain intelligence agencies ...

very interesting. how can I get this thing on my chromebook? :)

I'm not too familiar with chromebook. If it is an amd64 machine, has at least 4GB of RAM (more is better, I got away with 4GB but had to shutdown some vms while using some programs (like bitshares, incidentally), upgraded to 12GB and have 20 vms always running without even swapping), and supports VT-d (IOMMU), then you should be good to go!

Windows 10 is a scam to steal everyone's cryptos.  And all other info.

I would definitely be careful, but the first time somebody could prove that Microsoft enabled a theft or was involved in a theft then I can see major lawsuits and lots of millions of dollars at stake for them.

Hello, do we need to be concern about running our bitshares wallet on Windows 10? I've read somewhere that Microsoft has programmed W10 in such a way that they have a way to spy on people who store bitcoins in their OS.

Any thoughts?

lulz, I've never heard the Bitcoin part of it, but click this and take your pick to remove some of their malware ...
