After reading Cob's last update about including other areas of entertainment, I started talking to a few local bands and 1 artist I know.  I showed them all the billboard article and one of the podcasts.  The response from the bands was what you would expect, when can they sign up. The more interesting one was the response from the artist. She has a really small shop that she uses to display her work. What she imagined was building a community that would hopefully be excited by her work that they would share it on sites like Instagram. She told me her reality as an artist, she spends too much of her time trying to promote when she rather spend it creating new pieces. She imagined being able to offer rewards such as watching her paint a picture, Q and As, previews of works, custom paintings when a certain money thresh hold is hit, the list goes on and on.  She's an unknown artist and the mother of a good friend of mine.  I thought it was interesting to hear how she would be able to use the platform. I'm excited about Peertracks and equally excited at the other areas that this technology can reach.   If you have some time and haven't already, I recommend talking to local artists and musicians.
