What happens to expired shorts?

They have to be closed manually, there's no expiration any more. They will get margin called if the price drops though.

You should have some collateral-holder-account-x in your wallet, they're from your old short positions. There appears to be a an issue with transferring funds from those accounts atm though but that should get resolved soon enough.

I have some shorts that have been expired for about 2 months now....will they ever auto-close or do they have to be closed manually?
