I get a bunch of files with a recovery program (thanks @liondani and @BunkerChain Labs ) and replace them in the computer, but it doesn’t work. Maybe I don’t get the right file… any dev, can tell me what files are needed from the cache?

All the files in the cache will have cache file names like “4A62C7E5d01″ which are nice and easy for computers to read but useless for humans.

Thank you! But which files should I rescue?
I get content-prefs.sqlite and permissions.sqlite from firefox, but I think I need another files and I don't know which they are...

all the information of the webwallet is stored on your firefox cache memory and "content-prefs.sqlite" has certainly something to do with your cache...
http://askubuntu.com/questions/616551/where-is-the-mozilla-firefox-cache-located

look also if you find a .bin file also in case you had downloaded the wallet backup file in the past...

I am waiting from @xeroc more informations about the exact files needed from the cache location (names etc...)

the best you can do is to put the hard disk drive on another system and run the recovery programs from the new system in order not to use the "problematic" disk for the recovery... the recovered data should copied to another hard disk NOT THE SAME

Download this tool and run it:

http://www.r-studio.com/

The tool is free to see if you can recover the data.. if you can then buy a license so you can get your wallet back. It's handy to have to in situations like this.

You will be able to scan data beyond your file table that is still there.

It is going to take time because the data is likely going to be a rats nest after formatting. So be prepared to go through numerous unidentified folders attempting to find where your file is located if it is still there.

I don't know how you backed up your wallet if you kept your keys in a file or if you downloaded the .bin, but either way, this is your best chance at finding that specific file and then attempting to restore it.

DO THIS NOW... don't wait.. the longer you continue to run your new formatted system the more likely new data is overwriting the old.

Hi,

It’s embarrassing but I have lost my account on Openledger because I've formatted my hard disk. I have no backups, so I guess I lost my cryptocoins, but before completely give up, I want to ask you if there is any possibility of rescuing it.

Thank you for your patience,

@Peru  there is still hope...

there are many tools out there that can make "UNFORMAT"
maybe it is possible you could rescue some files, if you are lucky....

DON"T do anything further with your Hard disk (copy. installs etc.) so the possibility is greater to rescue some data...

"Recover files from formatted hard drive is realistic"

PS can a dev tell us which files needs to recovered ? (files involved with the cach memory from browsers?)
