FWIW, I requested a withdrawal code earlier today and never received it (assuming they are still supposed to arrive on this forum in a pm).

I'll try again tomorrow.

I played around with the sharebit´s bot a bit, here are some things i noticed.

  • When you log in: It should say "User Name" "Password" in that way it is clear what information are required.
  • User should get an error msg when he typed in the wrong password. Not every user should be able to look into a random sharebits account. Right now I can type in every sharebit user name, plus a random security code and look into their balances. I cannot send anything though. I would prefer you can only log and view your own account.
  • It would be nice to have an actually button that shows you that you are logged in correctly. And not in someone else account.
  • Rename the Menu. It should be "Balances" or "Home" instead of deposit. Move the deposit functions to a "Deposit & Withdrawal" Tap.
  • Once I sent somebody a tip link. The receiver will claim the tip and enter his bitsharestalk, twitter or facebook name. There should be a redirect link back to home, once you claimed the funds.
  • The user should be redirected after he withdraw money to his bts account

What would be the best way to distribute tokens on a conference? I will be traveling and meet tons of people. I would be great if I could send tokens to random people so they can try out the sharebits bot plus the bitshares platform. It should be very easy for them to create an openledger account and send, receive different tokens.

Opinions?

Number two isn't to important because you can always look up people's balances on the blockchain. But it would be nice to have.  I would like it to be grandma proof has much is possible, so you can introduce newbies with ease.

I guess here is the place to repport the bugs ??

I tried to send 600 MERRY.CHRISTMAS (to 600 members), I didn't recieved the forum confirmation and I can't check in the history tab if they were sent.

The "PREVIOUS | NEXT" at the bottom of the history doesn't work.

Alright I'm looking into the issues that you guys have mentioned, once again sorry for the delay, things have been pretty busy on my end, will post back with news shortly.

Edit:
Withdrawing assets (seems) to be fixed now (tested w/ BTS and BROWNIE.PTS):
http://cryptofresh.com/b/1697075

Sent Tuck a PM about looking into generating urls since when I tested it myself, it seemed to work for me Your BTS has been sent to ShareBits account hybridd(BitsharesTalk), but perhaps there's some specific conditions that can cause an error...

@JWF Found the issue with sending you your withdrawal/security code, will be fixed shortly, you should receive one within the next hour or 2, working on fixing it now. Fixed, you should have received your PM.
we understand you are busy and are working on more than one project in bitshares. thanks for working hard to get both of them working as needed.  it doesnt go unnoticed.  our community is in a transition period. bts 1.0 was far simpler in terms of governance, but this new 2.0 structure makes our community have to decide things we have not yet had to decide so it is a bit chaotic in our community.
