I briefly checked it out yesterday it's a great start! Truly minimalistic. The weird thing is that the simplicity was almost confusing. Maybe that's just me being used to our wallets :) But an extra option or two, table column, or a little bit more info somehow could help. Maybe some guidance text, especially on the account create page. Small things like: "Enter first name" could be "Enter nickname" because it communicates the intent better. Some other brief thoughts:
 - There are 2 white dots above and below the $ sign, they might look ok if they were aligned with the center stroke but they are offset to the right by a few pixels in my browser
 - The ">" and "<" buttons would be better as unique icons or maybe simply flipped. On the "Send" page the arrow points to the right, which makes me think "go forward" when it really brings me back to the account overview.

I haven't tried making a transaction yet.. it doesn't recognize assets other than CASH.USD right? Do we have a USD:CASH.USD market?

Thanks for the great feedback!  Yes I think our goal is to 'say nothing yet say everything'.... but we have to find the best zen path :P.. someone also mentioned instructions.  I think for now maybe some kind of call-out information (i) icon might be a good start.

1) I think nickname works well!  We'll most likely change 'first name' to 'nickname' !   Thanks!

2) Yes the dots are css and I can see it being off  on various browsers... we probably need to create an svg of that symbol ...calling on @cass?  you there? :)

3)  Yes there are technically only two screens, the keypad and balance screen.  When you press 'send' it's supposed to be more modal-like or a child of the keypad screen.  Otherwise it's > to balance and < to home.  Will think about ways to convey that better..

4) I'll send you a small amount of CASH.USD if you still have access to your wallet.  (You can save your keys clicking on the key symbol.)  My account is: jun1     I'm hoping people create CASH.USD using instructions under 'Why create CASH.USD and how do I do it?' at https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,22192.0.html

Thanks so much for the feedback!

More feedback.

In the app, the list of transactions shows amounts, but not which account the money came from or went to. I know you want to keep it simple, was this a conscious decision? I imagine some scenarios where people would want to see this information without going to a block explorer.

Also the amounts don't always add up, i.e. the sum of transactions doesn't equal the balance. I imagine this is because of rounding, but it would confuse some people. Would it be much work to overcome this problem?

When typing in who to send money to, it doesn't offer a list of choices when you've input a partial account name. I like this fact! On a smartphone it's too easy to tap the wrong item on a list and not notice. There will be fewer mistakes how you've done it.

When messing around I noticed the response within the 'app' when you do a successful transaction is the same as with one which is invalid/unsuccessful. This means the user has to check the transaction list or balance to see if it worked. Could there be something to indicate whether or not a transaction was completed?

What you've done is very effective, lovely and simple. The simplicity makes it seem all the more magical. "What? I've just received money from Dave? But all I did was go to this site, choose a name and tell Dave!".

Thanks for the great feedback!

We're planning to get as much feedback up to probably 1,000 people in the alpha phase and then go to beta.. maybe up to 10,000 before an official launch.

1) Yes we wanted to keep it simple, but partly because it's easier to code  :P.. we do want to highlight/show 'To/From/Date' when you click on one of the rows.  That should be in the beta phase.  :)

2) I think the network fees range are around +/-1.3 cents currently.   That amount is deducted from your balance instead of the receiver so unfortunately the amounts don't add up.  There's also a bit of dust that remains as well.  You'll notice if you have $1 left you can't send it all, you'll have to send 98 cents and the rest will go to fees.  Not sure the best UX is but for now I guess we just explain there are fees.  Ideally we will have %-based transaction fees + a free for members pricing structure.

3)  Interesting to know about tapping the wrong name!   What about an auto-suggestion for recent recipients or your friend list?

4)  Yes there is delay and uncertainty until you wait to make sure it went through.  Maybe some kind of confirmation notice before going to the next screen, but have to see what we can do there technically.

Thanks so much for all the feedback!

Hello BitCash Founder's Club members!

We have our alpha version of the simple mobile web wallet up at: https://wallet.bitcash.org

It only works on Chrome for mobile.  (Hopefully we can eventually get the graphene-ui code to work on iPhone/Safari)  We'll eventually use React Native for iOS/Android, but having a mobile-centric web app is a good start.   You can go to the url and  'Add to Homescreen' and it will act like a native app.  Otherwise you can just use your laptop/desktop to test as well.   It's a very simple starter wallet for mainstream users.   I don't imagine people will put over $100 in it in the long-run.  It's designed to be a 'money-clip' wallet for spending cash.

Anyways if you guys can check it out and give feedback that would be great.  I'll send you guys a small amount of bitcash to send back and forth to test if you give me your user ID... Thanks!

You are the first I know off to "Add Simplicity" to BitShares
This app will go far and wide ( in America  :P )

Also to see it on OL or our faucet, you go to the Wallet Management Console and click Restore Backup, choose file, enter your pincode and you should see it.
