we bought 10.7 METAFEES for 0.4743 METAEX.BTC and will burn them the next days. The total supply for METAFEES will be going down from 5391.08 to 5380,38 METAFEES.
http://cryptofresh.com/a/METAFEES

key facts:

Exchangerates:

BTS : 0.0000087 down from 0.00001425 ( -39% )
ETH : 0.020 down from 0.0278 ( -32% )
NXT : 0.00001575 down from 0.0000198 (  -20% )

Prove of reservers:

BTS: http://cryptofresh.com/u/metaexchangebtc
ETH: https://www.etherchain.org/account/0x056507108fe6d30189eccd6cd7f4fad56eeef622
METAEX.ETH: https://www.etherchain.org/account/0x3fe1b554e8bd14e310f70db3836b5efdfe256258

For prove for BTC we have something to code, but at the moment monsterer is to busy with his paying jobs, so it will take time to do it!

Net asset value(NAV):

(if we would liquidate the METAFEEpool today)

- for holding 38,5 METAFEES you would get 1 Bitcoin

compared to last month this is an decrease of roughly -16.7% . If you compare the decrease of the METAFEES pool of 16.7% to the decrease of
BTS, ETH and NXT directly (  -39% BTS, -32% ETH and -20% NXT) our portfolio are doing really good. Please keep in mind, that the liquidity pool holds (50% BTC, 25% BTS, 20% ETH and 5% NXT) and for this
reason will fluctuate in the future.

Total Transfers on MetaExchange.info in April : 556 Transactions to last month 483 Transactions

This is the buyback and Update for this month!

Buyback March 2016:

we bought 11.92 METAFEES for 0.5363 METAEX.BTC and will burn them the next days. The total supply for METAFEES will be going down from 5403 to 5391.08 METAFEES.
http://cryptofresh.com/a/METAFEES

key facts:

Exchangerates:

BTS : 0.00001425

For prove for BTC we have something to code, but at the moment monsterer is to busy with his paying jobs, so it will take time to do it!

Net asset value(NAV):

(if we would liquidate the METAFEEpool today)

- for holding 33 METAFEES you would get 1 Bitcoin

compared to last month this is an increase of roughly 30 %. The major key facts are the still rising Ethereum price and also a
higher price of BitShares. Please keep in mind, that the liquidity pool holds (50% BTC, 25% BTS, 20% ETH and 5% NXT) and for this
reason will fluctuate in the future.

Total Transfers on MetaExchange.info in March : 483 Transactions

A major revenue stream since the last 2 month are BTS, ETH pair and our METAEX.BTC UIA asset on the internal BitShares exchange. For this
reason we are moving more funds into the UIA market. This means we will support also in the future the pair:

METAEX.BTC / METAEX.ETH : https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/market/METAEX.BTC_METAEX.ETH
and you will see increased liquidity for the pairs
METAEX.BTC /BTS  : https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/market/METAEX.BTC_BTS
METAEX.BTC /BTC  : https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/market/METAEX.BTC_BTC

The fees on METAEX.ETH was lowered to 0.1%, so that you want to trade on our pair METAEX.BTC / METAEX.ETH you pay an average of
0.2 % fee!

This is the buyback and Update for this month and we hope you will use us in the future, too!

cheers

I still don't understand either. Better tag him if you want him to chip in @monsterer

I burned an allocation which was used for a different market maker model which never came to fruition.
Did you mean:
1. you(monsterer) bought some METAFEES [amount=X] (from metaexchange) with your(monsterer's) own BTS [amount=Y] some time ago,
2. at that time you(metaexchange) wanted to use that BTS to do something (e.g. polo hedging),
3. but at last you(metaexchange) didn't do it, or get it back without loss,
4. now you(metaexchange) bought back the METAFEES[amount=X?] from you(monsterer) with that BTS[amount=Y?], then destroyed the bought back METAFEES[amount=X?]

i just did the next buyback http://cryptofresh.com/b/3169440

we bought 13.33 METAFEES for 0.32 BTC and will burn them the next days. The total supply for METAFEES will be going down from 6220 to 6206.67 METAFEES.

How did the supply drop to 5416   ??

tx for asking. we run an experiment with hedging on poloniex, but this is not needed anymore and we decided to go with our old model. So monsterer took his allocated METAFEES out of the pool.

he allocated originally everything in BTS and since the sell BTS dropped a lot in value, this is good for all remaining shareholders, because our liquidity pool increased thanks to ETHER a lot the last weeks.
I didn't understand, sorry.

i hope monsterer can chip in and can explain it in better english!

the buyback just happend: https://cryptofresh.com/b/3973254

we bought 13.04 METAFEES for 0.29998 METAEX.BTC

As ever, we will burn them, the next days.

This time i will talk about the NAV (net asset value) of the METAFEES liquidity pool.

The allocation is not changing so we are holding still 50% BTC, 25% ETH, 20 % BTS and 5% NXT

With the huge ETH rising the last month you would get for 43 METAFEES : 1 Bitcoin. This NAV would be paid to the holders if we have to quit the business, so at the
moment all original buyers in Bitcoin are roughly 15% ahead.

Please be careful with the given numbers. You can assume how the pool is doing if you just look into the price correlations of the assets we are holding.

Have a nice next buyback :D

how we are doing?

in january the existing pairs BTS/BTC, ETH/BTC and NXT/BTC saw much less transfers then before. It was compensated from new pairs like MUSE/BTC and METAEX:BTC/BTS.
we are thinking about ways to give more value to our customers and so to do more transfers in the future.

in the past i posted here https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,21058.0.html how you can look into METAFEES and try to assume their value. Right now, the allocation is nearly the same : 50% BTC, 25% ETH, 20 % BTS and 5% NXT

The value of ETH increased a lot and BTS got also better, so the METAFEES pool coins are doing good and increased the value from the pool calculated in BTC. Please remember in the beginning of the fundraiser the price of 1 METAFEE was 1500 BTS, but of reasons of the dropping value, our portfolio lost already in the downtrend in the last month (always looking from BTC point of view!).

cheers
Frank

Will you post all the information before or after the buyback??? It's great if we could get a look at you financials, I know you're not regulated, but posting information about the health of your company would go a long way in building trust in your company.

we will consider it.

we are not publishing yet all information, but we are relative open if you look daily on our website you get a feeling about the transactions.

for BTS pairs you can look into http://cryptofresh.com/u/metaexchangebtc you see also most of our BTS balance here
we have not all BTS in this account, but the biggest portion
our METAEX pairs you can look into http://cryptofresh.com/a/METAEX.BTC and at the moment only METAEX.BTC pair is supported from us.

Thanks shentist, can I just hold to make money?

if we have to end metaexchange we will buyback all outstanding METAFEES with the liquidity pool. i will write something to explain what the value is of METAFEES in our opinion

How many metafees will be will be outstanding after the next burn. the website says 5109 but the blockchain says 7121

And do the total outstanding represent 50% of all profit made by metaexchange?

we have to burn 896 from the sale and the now bought 5.9 METAFEES so the total METAFEES in circulation are a little bit more then 6000!

50% of our fees are going into the monthly buyback. Every holder of METAFEES is free to choose to sell them and we will buy as much as the fees can aquire.

we bought METAFEES worth 0.1778 BTC and burning them (5.91021) the next days.

because the account "metafees-buyback" is not syncing we had to use a different account to make the buyback this time.

in december we had fees in total of 0.35578 BTC so 50% is the amount of the buyback.

in this month the BTS fees are 30% lower, but ETH and NXT fees are much lower then before. In the future MUSE fees will be added to this and will increase the
amount of the buyback overtime.

i didn't do the math, but i suspect if we would calculate everything in BTC we had a really nice month, but with the rising BTC compared to BTS, ETH and NXT the amounts are lower then before.

thanks for your support of metaexchange

we will do the next buyback on monday Janary 4th between 8pm - 9pm CET on this market again https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/METAFEES_METAEX.BTC

Now everyone knows to buy just before the time you gave. The buyback in the future might work best if the time and date of it is kept random.
Why don't let everyone know? Imo it's better be public like this.

The lowest filled sell order was 0.079 BTC, which was nearly 4x the price they were bought at, so somebody made some nice profit. Hopefully, the process will be a bit more clear now.

We wanted the post buy-back price in the market to be the new market price, but since the market was so illiquid at the time of the buy-back, this doesn't really make sense, so instead we are increasing our new METAFEES prices by 1%, which roughly reflects the profits / total BTC inventory ratio.

For the next buy back, we expect the market to be more liquid such that the post buy back price will be the new sale price.

thanks guys!

First buyback happend!

we bought 9.7 METAFEES for 0.66 METAEX.BTC http://cryptofresh.com/b/1179209

so the circulating METAFEES are shrinking about 9.7 METAFEES and will increase the value of the remaining METAFEES.

Before the BTS 2.0 integration we made something about 1 BTC a month in fees, so in the future we hope to increase the buyback much more. Please consider that we bought with 100%
of the fees this time, but next time it will be 50% of the fees.

We will now made our ANNs on some other crypto community forums and will promote our fundraiser and our service.

Thanks everyone for your support.

P.S. The next buyback will happen around the same time, so hopefully we will got more holders of METAFEES next time.
Hopefully the bug in trading UIA: UIA is fixed!

I assume you will increase the price of the METAFEES your selling according to the price you buy during the buyback?

no we are not, because the buyback will happen in one spot.

So you will continue selling them at 0,02 METAFEE/BTC till the fund raiser ends? Sorry, I didn't get that from your original post

I assume you will increase the price of the METAFEES your selling according to the price you buy during the buyback?

no we are not, because the buyback will happen in one spot.

where's this buyback then?

i am not sure what you mean?

How do I get METAFEES_METAEX.BTC to pull up in the lightwallet?  It does not show up anywhere that I can see.

i didn't tried it on the lightwallet - maybe some devs can give us some hints?

Any luck with getting this pair to show up in the lightwallet (however that is done)?

sorry, i don't think so. It was in a prior version possible but somehow this bug got included.

20% is done, hopefully, the Bitcointalk announcement will speed things up

we do not need to sell every METAFEES to make the fundraiser a success. We put 200 BTC in place, because it is at the moment the maximum in liquidity we need for the next months. So if the business
is increasing and we are adding more markets the fees will increase and the METAFEE holders will be happy. We are not planing to raise not needed liquidity.

First - every sold METAFEES will increase our liquidity , so will help to make more transactions
Second - not sold maximum means more fees for the existing METAFEES

How is doing the fund raiser?

hi rgcrypto

you can see the progress here http://cryptofresh.com/a/METAFEES and here https://metaexchange.info/invest

to see the total sold METAFEES you have to count the liquiditypool before (2000 METAFEES) and the not sold METAFESS on the bitshares blockchain of 1360 METAFEES. So we sold till now 2200 METAFEES and got coins in BTS, BTC, NXT, ETH worth 44 BTC. So the liquidity in the moment to run our markets are doubled from before the fundraiser, so we are pleased with the result.

We will market the fundraiser after monday also to the other crypto communities. The fundraiser continous for more then 30 days, so we expect to get more funds, after market to the other communities.

to give a feeling how much buyback we have - we are transfering each month between 300-600 BTC in value and charging 0.3 % transaction fee.

Thanks. I've just asked because I'm curious but I honestly don't know the best way to conduct this. Maybe it's better like it was mentioned and not give too much details as to avoid manipulation.

Better to keep it secret as a policy. Having that known will only cause manipulation. It's also better not to let the day of the month be known. The less people know the less manipulation there will be.

thanks for the input!

we are not sure how to do it, so we have our opinions on this, but with feedback some rules can change. The reason why we not posted the amount in advance is the possible manipulation.

Hi bitshares community,

our fundraiser is still running, more then 30 days left, so it is a good time to do our first buyback.

The goal for this buyback is to give everyone a feeling how we will do it and to get feedback what we should change.

So the rules for the first buyback are:

1. We will buyback as many METAFEES as 100% of our fees can do. We choose to use 100% of the collected fees, because the integration from BTS 2.0 needed longer then expected and the collected fees in the last month are lower then normal! The exact amount we will not announce to make it more interesting.

2. The buyback will be occur on Monday between 8pm - 10pm CET

3. For this buyback we are only doing in on the pair METAFEES:METAEX.BTC https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/METAFEES_METAEX.BTC (as a sidenote for the devs, for me it was impossible to choose this pair on the webwallet. I had to put the pair manually into the link.

4. We created the account "metafees-buyback" everything we will do for the buyback, we are planing to do it with this account : http://cryptofresh.com/u/metafees-buyback

5. If some METAFEES are left the remaining buyback fees will get used with the next buyback.

6. For the beginning the bought METAFEES will rest till the end of the fundraiser on the account "metafees-buyback" and will be burned after the fundraiser is over.

We use this pair to give our UIAs more usability and to promote them to the bitshares community. The METAEX.BTC can instantly transfered into BTS https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/METAEX.BTC_BTS or via metaexchange.info into real BTC https://metaexchange.info/markets/METAEX.BTC/BTC

If you have questions, let us know we have some days left till monday!

I have considered most of these issues for reasons known to some, so:

2. exact time is better (even better same time from now on forward).

6. Is odd... why? It is not like you gonna run out of metafees to sell for the rest of the ICO time. So I would burn them the next day.

Other than that, slightly less important - making it more interesting is not very business like [if you have real reasons why it is better, just state them]

Other than that Good luck! I am a fan of yours, as you might know.

i tonyk thanks for the feedback

2. i choose a timespan you never know if something happens and i am running late a little bit. At the moment we do it manually, so in the future we can do it automated and then it is easy to guarantee a time!
6.  we can burn them instantly if wanted, but for this we need to send them back to the issue account (hope i understand it correct). So to prefend some misunderstanding i choose to handle it this way.

Lack of arbitrage is the problem, isn't it. And this 'should' solves it.
