bytemaster: It’s never a dull week and in the realm of BitShares. I’ve really enjoyed watching the Community get more involved, both in the Committee and trying to resolve problems on it’s own. So I’m really proud of all of you guys and even though there’s a lot of controversy over whether or not the right decision was made, the point is that we have the controversy in the first place. That means that people are engaged and that people are thinking about what’s best for BitShares. And that’s always a good thing.

So a quick update on stuff we've been working on this week is a series of changes that we're going to roll out into a single hard fork. And those include to refund order creation fees if the order is filled and to fix the referral program's cashback allocation that was off by a factor of 100. And to fix the margin call price so that it doesn't call unless the fee is less than the call price. But once it is called it will match up to 10% more trying to fill it. That should prevent a lot of margin calls from occurring in the first place.

December 4th Hangout Partial Transcript (Dan's update portion) is complete. The rest should be done by the time the next hangout rolls around. A special "Thank You!" goes out to the following BitShares Community members for donating to get this transcript completed.  We didn't quite meet our goal to cover all cost, but it's a start and as long as we can raise around 10,000 BTS per transcript we don't mind covering any overages to get one done.
