I still am unsure I understand but I can already tell this community is mature.  Thanks for all the positivity among my negativity - it says a lot about your community.  I am still a die hard Ripple fan boy but I will check out bitshares.  Quick question - what is bitshares audience and do they have a specific niche?

Our audience is the whole world, not just banks. Our niche is providing a decentralized exchange (which can be used for trading, investing, saving, or making transfers), rather than a network owned by a few Silicon Valley heavyweights. Other than that, we have some things in common with Ripple.

Most is about increasing speculative value... if you are pushing speculative increases in value then your plan is crap otherwise you would let the product do the talking.  Reminds me of bitcoin... another get rich quick scheme.

Please give us a link (as example) for some other pure innovative coin/system features which not "increasing speculative value".
