I've spent some time optimizing the algorithms, now performs 20% faster than the original CPU miner (~3.5HPM on my i7).
Now it's the alpha test version, and only supports CPU with AESNI and AVX or SSE4 (use --noavx parameter) instruction sets.

usage: mc2miner [--url url] [--threads number] [--noavx] [--idle] [your wallet address]

If i use the --noavx everithing works great !

At the moment i'm getting 12,6 work/min

can you help me ? i use win8 pro 64bit.

With this miner i have very unstable HPM... from very low to very much (statistic in pool) 7-18HPM
With standart miner i have 11-12 HPM stable on pool stats.
How much CPU power author shaved to himself???

Hello,

I own a dual xeon 5670 and I've tried to using your program but something goes wrong and I got a crash.
I've also tried to change the threads option, to launch the program as administrator but nothing was happened.
The only message I got was that the program has found the Aes-Ni instructions.

I'm facing the error

It hangs after 5s on Ubuntu, CPU is dual L5639 so it should be supported..

Edit: 8 threads works fine, anything above that makes it hang.
Edit2: Solution is just start 3 instances, so they will use 24 threads total

It seems to be a bug. Fixed in 0.1c version. Thank you for reporting.
