eReceipts are now running and the Blocktrades api is connected and running like a champ: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,20762.msg280044.html#msg280044
Alpha 12 of the BitShares mobile wallet is ready for download. The only major thing we have left for v1.0 beta 1 is to just finish up the 22 language translations. I should have that done this week then we can finally get this wallet out to the world and get it published in the apple and android app stores! https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,20762.msg278920.html#msg278920
I made up some window decals in 2 different sizes. They have a transparent background, and are the exact size that Vistaprint requires. Here is what they look like: The Smartcoins POS systems should be ready by March, so I think it would be great if you guys could help me pass these out to local shops: http://bitshares-munich.de/img/_masters/window-decal-small.pdf http://bitshares-munich.de/img/_masters/window-decal-large-horizontal.pdf

Personally I'll buy some more OPENPOS next week or so Any word on f-droid? As you guys approach BETA, it might be the right time to make the wallet available on THE alternative to google play for open-source enthusiasts.

Very nice work Ken
@fuzzy thank you for the mumble last night it was great!! The OPENPOS token is doing well, if we can get just a couple more large donors, I will get the my Odoo team rolling probably monday or tuesday so that we can meet my Smartcoins POS March deadline.
We are using the standards set forth by CNX: https://github.com/cryptonomex/graphene/wiki/Wallet%20Merchant%20Protocol https://github.com/cryptonomex/graphene-ui/tree/master/web/app/components/Transfer edit: I think @jcalfee1 or @svk is the merchant protocol guru

If there are any other mobile wallets out there in development right now, please make sure your wallet can read Smartcoins POS qr codes for eReceipts. We generate a receipt for the customer as a json file, compress it and base58 encode it for the url that is used to generate the qr code. The customer then scans that qr code with their phone so please make sure your wallets include support for these standards, thank you
hey guys, i posted some more videos and a download link for the alpha 7 release this morning: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,20762.msg269971.html#msg269971

Quote from: kenCode on January 02, 2016, 08:46:38 amThere is 5 fields where the brand BitShares Munich or BitShares Wallet does not appear correct: O45, O54, O63, O64, O73I've fixed that. The reason I used the word "wallet" instead of the expression "BitShares Wallet", is that it sounds a bit awkward in Polish, but if you are determined to preserve the branding in this way, I'm fine with that. +++++ cool, thank you again jakub Regarding the field A73, I 'm not sure what is the meaning of "..." in this context.QuoteOn the home screen, tap on the QR code, or tap and hold on the BTS… address. Please explain, so that I can translate it properly.EDIT: I guess by "BTS..." you mean an address like this "BTS7hC5RAxkenTAfaBncgyH4RNJKtkPJURXnuCabqCf7iu5QYL3ZW", right? +++++ right, exactly. If that's the case, shouldn't such scary technical elements be entirely hidden from the user? +++++ I have given that extensive thought actually, those cryptic looking addresses might confuse some users (like my Grandma). I'll leave it there for now so we can launch, but I am not adverse to removing it, will just wait to see what the community thinks about leaving it on there. QuoteI also stuck the word FINDER in there for consistency with the other languages. What is this Finder thing in this context: "Allow the Finder (v2.0) to..."? Is it some module within your app? I translated it literally, without much understanding what is meant here.

I would love it @xeroc if you and the other top Devs could do a security and efficiency audit on it too, thanx so much you guys!

I listened to the Mumble with @kenCode and @Chris4210X today and I need to say this: what they've done is an enormous undertaking. Those guys are extremely efficient entrepreneurs. For me, as of now, this is the best news in the category "third party development" since Oct 13. PS. I've fixed the Polish translation in the Google spreadsheet.Just to let you know, those automatic translations are not reliable - about 80% of it was wrong or very misleading.
Thanks for the quick response, seems you are already on top of most things. Happy New Year and best of luck!
Quote from: Empirical1.2 on January 01, 2016, 08:02:45 pm Screenshots look great and it seems like a very reasonable cost. Feel free to answer these questions in the other thread if you would prefer to keep content there. If your fundraising falls short perhaps you could create a worker proposal for a portion of the funding, with BTS receiving a share of the profits relative to the % it funds. Given the project may add overall value to BTS for a low cost it may be supported from that perspective too. What is the route a merchant would take to convert BTS related tokens to fiat in their bank account. (Cost, steps involved.) You state 50% of profits not revenue, what are the expected monthly running costs of the business for year one? The hard part is convincing merchants to adopt a payment option like BTS which currently has few users..Will you be involved in/Do you have any marketing plan to promote this to Odoo businesses? Possible ideas:- Perhaps a brochure aimed at merchants - Referral programme integration. Maybe a link a merchant can give a customer so that when the customer downloads the app, they become the primary referrer. Thank you @Empirical1.2 The fundraising won't fall short. No Worker needed right now. As for profits and such, @Chris4210X would have to cover that as he does all the financial stuff with ccedk. As for converting BTS for their bank account. This is where CCEDK will come in with their new OPEN.EUR, OPEN.USD etc tokens and their bridge. Once Openledger is running that new bridge then I will get with Ronny again and see how much of it we can implement with the mobile wallets, what is entailed etc and then I can figure out what it will cost. I would not expect more than a few thousand bucks to add it tho. We have the bulk of the wallets done already just need to pretty it up now and have the top Devs beat the hell out of it with us, see if we can break it etc before I upload it to apple app store, google play, etc. The 50% question, that is one for @Chris4210X Convincing merchants as I said in the mumble will take time. We have to bullet the points for them. Business owners have no time for bullshit so if we have a 5min "pitch" and just show them how fast and cheap and secure our system is and the many ways in which is can help them to expand and draw in new customers then we have a real winner here and can finally look at mass adoption of Smartcoins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZw950LCifY I am not a marketer IMO, I Make. Chris and members of this community (especially OPENPOS Hodlers) are the best marketers of these wallets and pos abilities as they understand it better than anyone and can just show business owners and others via Meetup (http://bitshares.meetup.com) and online why BitShares is the best and why they can start using our wallets and POS immediately. Multi-lingual flyers and business cards are done, I did those months ago: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,15840.0.html Referral button is already in the app as you will see, it is on the contacts screen, top right corner. This way if you get a friend to sign up?r=your_account then you get the referral. Please spread the word about the OPENPOS token, we are about 20% of the way there now. Will be in mumble again next friday as well! https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,20762.0/all.html
