I asked for and promptly received a refund of my LottoShares investment (in BTC).

I gladly rolled over my donation to their other project, Remittio.

LOL

But they recently told me they would refund this, too, after they decided not to roll over the donations.

2 months no dividends either for banx. I would not bet on them.

I'm not, because it never had the best reputation so to speak... However I thought that with BitShares they could come up with something nice, show transparency and prove people were wrong. Just curious about it.

I think the Banx CEO, Mark Lyford was also a founder of lottoshares, I didn't donate but haven't heard much about that lately either

Not completely accurate.

There was no BTC dividends.

Instead they gave out more banx to holders.

Those that expected BTC were less than pleased.

The Skype group got shut down because members were getting pretty nasty about it all. There wasn't any more rah-rah-sis-boom-bah going on like it was this summer.

The last message from Mark before it was shutdown:
Quote
Hi Folks, FYI this skype group is being closed down. 2016 is the year of positivity and focusing on moving forward with Banx plans. There has been way too much negativity in here. All future updates will be done through our Facebook page here : https://www.facebook.com/banxcapital/

If you didn’t catch the webinar I did about the plans for 2016 you can check it out here: http://app.webinarjam.net/register/20134/a32bdc82b9

Of course any of you are free to contact me direct on skype but effective immediately this group is being closed.

You can watch the video that he mentioned and see what is happening now.

They were removed off of coinmarketcap too?

What did anyone expect?

In this world of hyper competitive businesses, some guy is going to start a business that does everything?  It was nonsense from the start and you had to have blinders on to buy into that one.

Any updates? Didn't remmitio get an award or something at Web Summit? What about BANX? A new year's update would be nice...

From the beginning it was a project with some lack of trust and this apparent lack of communication doesn't make it any better. Unless they've shared something I'm not aware of
