I don't think it's necessary to peg a unstable currency.

it would be nice for me i know that...because then i can win over communities by using the sharebot to distribute TDoge to doge holders and bring them to bitshares.  this is a logical next step so if anyone has the vision and work ethic to helo pull such a thing off...let me know because it will be the smartcoins you develop that id be able to give away.   cannot tell you how important it is we try our best to add smartcoins like this.  otherwise i assure you ethereum will look to.  It is time we make friends in the crypto community.

force settlement is a good feature for smartcoin, if the parameters can be set well.

for the offset percent,
0% is too low to eliminate the premium/make exact pegging possible.
2% is too high to stimulate more liquidity.

so now we decided to set it to 1% for TCNY, hope this can bring more liquidity and meanwhile give shorters enough protection.

further adjustments are still possible in the future based on observation and review.
