During the buyback will your orders be removed from the order books? For example, there's a sell order of 12k obits from the obits account.

Sure, in another case buyback doesn't make any sense. This was confirmed in @ccedk early posts.

Correct, thanks for the reply @testz  +5%
Ronny, would the share drops be monthy (like buybacks intended to be)?

Thank you both just wanted to make sure.

Btw, @ccedk you might want to answer this. Is canadian dollar one of the 15 currencies you can deposit?

If it's the last buy back ever, how would oBits raise funds in the future?

buy back will be replaced with open.btc (or whatever) sharedrops. Fund raising is independent of buy backs. As long as sharedrops have value, people may be interested in crowdfunding

Market maker and cryptocurrency OBITS is celebrating the end of its crowdsale with its first buyback, a dividend option and a new fiat gateway on FinTech DEX OpenLedger.

New cryptocurrency OBITS has made waves in the ecosystem by raising more than 700 BTC in its public crowdsale, equivalent to $270,000 – all of which is earmarked for development costs. Now moving into its second phase, the first buyback will take place on 2 February 2016, and future profits will be used for market-making and to add value to the end users of the OpenLedger platform. Users will also be able to vote on a dividend option, meaning this may be the last buyback ever.

Pretty surprised you managed to collect 700 btc. Not underestimating OpenLedger or your work, it's just that I thought that would be impossible in any BitShares related projects given how the Moonstone and other crowdsales worked out.

I thought pretty much everyone lost a great deal of money. Managing to get 700 btc having BitShares in the current situation it is... pretty amazing. If you asked me I'd say you couldn't even get 1/5rd of that, so congrats! This is a really nice sign that people have hope OpenLedger will succeed!
