So is there anything I can do to improve my CPM?
For about $60 a month you could get a faster server. For example:
https://www.hetzner.de/en/hosting/produkte_rootserver/ex40
from which I get about 340CPM.
they also have a $60 setup fee

you'd be better off going through their robot or using seflow.it

outside of bulk quantity, 10+ server deals, i think the best thing right now is the stuff online.net is tossing to oneprovider,  like the e3-1230 for 29 euro

Pls to join Primedice 3 and frolic about merrily whilst gambling awe-inspiring quantities of bitcoins. The power of Christ compels you.

I have a dogecoin p2pool at Nogleg.

Daily earning @ 200 cpm: 0.0801 PTS * 30 days = 2.4 PTS, worth no more than 30$...

Some Questions about PTS mining on ypool with yam.
« Reply #1 on: January 08, 2014, 10:52:13 am »
Hello All,

I just registered on this forum so let's start saying hello to all you folks out here! :)

I have a question regarding mining of PTS on ypool with yam, so here goes;

I bought my first dedicated server with the following specifications;

OS: Ubuntu 13.04 LTS x64
CPU:  2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5520  @ 2.27GHz (So 16 threads in total)
Memory: 8GB

I have some questions about the miner I'm currently using which is the following;
yam-yvg1900-M7i-linux64-nehalem

I started mining 16 threads at 512m which gave me roughly around 200CPM, On advise I used numactl to bind each CPU to a process, So now I'm running 2 workers instead of one and each one giving me around 90/100 CPM.

I wonder what I can do to optimize my CPM and miner on this server and I'm also wondering if this will be any profitable for 60$ a month that I'm paying for this server.

Any advice would be appreciated and if more info is needed I'm happy to provide you with this :)

Please help me regarding this issue and thanks in advance!
