Importing the seed alone may not be sufficient ... please go to the wallet management console and also click on "LOOKUP BALANCES"!
Do you see your funds there?

I got this seed from my bitshares-1 wallet I believe. I had it imported in the new online bitshares wallet in Chrome, lately I deleted Chrome from my system but downloaded the new bitshares client.
Via "Advanced" I imported this seed (16 words) (I thought) but my wallet stays zero and default name.  :-[

Where did you get the mnemonic? Are you trying to claim shares from a BTC donation?

Hi,

How do I import a seed (mnemonic) into my bitshares light client?
I copy/pasted the mnemonic (brain key?) via the Advanced link but my account doesn't reflect in the client. What went wrong here???
