Any plans on a faster miner for these last few days?  Some of the other miners are incredibly fast but do not work with 1gh pool.

Thanks
Sorry, got no time at all to reimplement this.. And NaN apparently would not move host/port to commandline parameters because we do not support the hidden developer fee feature of the protocol :) However, I will opensource the miner tomorrow so it can possibly be used for noirshares etc.

All good, we appreciate all your support in developing the PTS mining scene.

Will there be any special kind of payout before the 28th? I know the payouts occur per .1 PTS, but it would be nice if there was a one time payout before the 28th.
Yes, we are planning to pay out all account balances above 0.01 PTS on 26th.

Does it really has that fee on 1gh? ;) Because this is the part of protocol we decided to ignore, does not feel fair.
Not 1gh get fee. Look dev. readme:
Quote
PtsGPUz v0.4 (2014-01-28):
MD5 of PtsGPUz0.4.exe: 766a4dd7a1babfff176df3855c70caf0
1. Supports to AMD display card added.
2. Fee rate reduced to 5%.
3. SM (Shader Model) 3.5 code generation added for Nvidia card like GeForce GTX 780Ti.
Net performance list for AMD cards:
HD7850, 1024SP, 256bit, 2GB: 470-500 collisions/minute.
HD6670, 480SP, 128bit, 1GB:  100-110 collisions/minute.
Yes, the point is, ypool has implemented a 'developer donation' feature in their protocol where it sends a fraction of each share reward to addresses the miner sends in special field. The problem with it is it is done silently, without warning user. So if the miner uses this feature to pay developer, his fee will not be sent by 1gh. But if it openly reconnects with another credentials to mine for developer, it will work of course.

So is the PtsGPUz miner worth it from a net performance perspective? The cpm always seems higher even with 5 percent taken out vs the miner listed on the 1gh site, but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks.
Yes, it is worth trying, of course.

I have a AMD R7 250x, the speed is only 50 c/m using version 1.4 miner, whereas for other software, it can reach 300+ c/m. Why is that?

Hey guys, been awhile since I last mined PTS but gave up on all the crapcoins and pointing my miners back to PTS.

Is there any Updated guides on setting up Yam miner on Ubuntu? Went through some pages of this thread but couldn't find anything.

Any help would appreciated.

Thank you.
It does not require much setup actually, just download the build that is right for your CPU. Or is it something specific you do not know how to set up?

Is it just short term luck or something else that has caused this 48 hour dip in blocks found
Just luck, and high variance at hashrate that low.
Yeap, pool is rise  8)
