Hello,

I meant 275 CPM (100 HPM) . Sorry for the mistake  ;D
The miner is algorithmically slower on 1G cards than on 1.5G+, and 5870's memory controllers are inferior to newer ones. This coin depends on fast memory access a lot.

Hello,

When I did the benchmark here https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2225.msg27053#msg27053 the result is 972.447 col/m. But i have only 275 cpm with this gpu minner  :o .

Benchmark CPM speed  :D :

Miner GPU win-1.2 speed  ::) :

This means that my gpu/ram is not fully exploited . There is no way to add argument to try more value ?

Is there anything I should check to ensure that the video cards are detected? It seems odd that it cant find either, when it was working fine all night using v 1.0

Thanks for your efforts, great software!

I think I am definately getting more than 1 to 2 of that errors per block. I downloaded this program around 16 hours ago so I am guessing it is the newest version too ?
No, it is definitely not the latest one, please redownload.

Newest version does not detect GPU. Any idea why? It only sees my Q9550 CPU.
Running ubuntu x64 miner 1.2
Miner 1.0 ran without a problem.
GPU is 2x 7870.

i was able to compile the cpuminer in debian but not ubuntu, i dunno..
anyways how much c/m does this mean?
thread 0: 2.222 hash/min

box normally does 330c/m
this miner doing 36+ hash/min ? guessing 100c/m?

Well decided to give cpu miner a try and seems it´s making more protoshares than both Gpu´s

I am getting a number if Rejected prevhash-stale...

Any ideas how to minimize that ?
Do you run the latest miner version? It should limit it to 1-2 stales per worker per block found on the network.

I have been mining for 12 hours and I have been averging around 5k C/M until my main rig crashed there so been averaging 2k CPM the last 2 hours. Is it normal to only get 0.3 PTS for such a long mining?

I have 5 servers doing CPU mining at ypool and I get a total of around maybe 1.2 - 1.3k CPM and I get around 1.2 PTS a day ?

And i hope you don't miss the point at wich the regular server-users are calling in "everything is a bit laggy today"  8)

Cool - I just wasn't sure because I was expecting to get around 5 PTS based on what I was getting from ypool. I am still getting around 1.2 PTS there today.

Any ideas what 5k CPM can get me a day?

What are you getting yourself today ?

Not so much at the moment, the last block found is 5 hours ago, you understand? The more blocks are found on a regular basis the easier it is to say how much one will get for the CPM per Minute.

Ah - cool. I didn't know this pool has only been on for less than 24 hours lol. I thought it has been on for like 2 days :P

But in theory, I guess I expect to get around 3 times as much from ypool since I have 3x more CPM ?

You could expect this if 1gh would find blocks at the same rate compared to hash power or with the same "efficiency" as ypool does, which is apparently not the case (but not be in-just it's also too early to make this assumption). That's why this thing is also called "pool-luck"  ;D.

haha - i guess i'll give it a couple of days  :P :P

there we go again, seems like Hashpower hasn't changed too much the last hours.
