why should they make people use a different pool than their own... strange idea ^^

neeeeed a 512mb vram version tho :S (why not accept parameters like other miners??)
That's because the algorithm needs full 512M just for hashes, and then some to search for solutions. Host-device memory transfers are quite expensive in OpenCL, if the job cannot be done in just VRAM, it is going to be real slow.

Hi,

On AWS with g2 instance getting 870 cpm with GPU on 1gh and CPU (using Yam) on Ypool combined.

Anyone seeing better ?

At this rate it only makes sense to use AWS G2 instance at spot prices less than .19

Am i right ?

any chance for a version that supports card with lower vram than 1 gb? would be great :)

thx alot

Is there anyway to use the AMD card miner provided by 1gh to mine in ypool? It seems it's harder and harder to find a block in this pool. BTW, I don't mind the fee donated to the software author.
Not at the moment. But the less the pool hashrate, the higher your reward, and the house cut is less on 1gh (3.5% vs 6%). It only makes sense to migrate to another coin but not to another pool for the same coin.

Guys, anybody with Nvidia here? Care to post your results? Seems impossible to get a honest benchmark from another camp..

I did a lot more than that, yestarday with a Hd7950 and a Hd 7870 made 1.10 Pts in 24H but since then just made 0.4, i think the pool lost hash rate and with that the ability to find blocks, i could be wrong but that seems to be the issue...
Yeah, I think people are dropping off and it's taking forever to solve blocks. Mine dropped too, had a little over 2100 cpm and now making squat. This is fading fast and not worth the electricity. It's a bummer, really wanted to see GPUs help rebalance the pools.

GPU mining will take some time to sort out, still very early in the PTS GPU game...  I have no way of measuring electricity however these pts miners seem to load the gpu's a lot less compared with scrypt.

Yes they do, but still, right now doesn´t pay to mine here with the Gpu there are altcoins right now giving much more profitability. i actually would stay if i could make +- 1Pts a day but 0.4 it´s way low.
But this miner is way mor Gpu friendly than Cgminer my temps wouldn´t go above 51º and now with Cgminer temps are touching 70º
