Also wanted to check. My average payout seems to be .05 per block. This does not seem to change much irrespective of the number of shares. Is that normal?

On my side I also see no correlation between shares and value in the worker stats.
Could be an issue with the stats, though...

So its been a bit more than a day, with a disconnection in between, but I feel, I am earning less. I may be totally wrong though as I have not put things on a timer.

I have a question though. I understand the 20 people one car and 10 people one car example given earlier in this thread or somewhere else about smaller pools working in the same way as larger pools in terms of payout as there are fewer workers for the same reward.

But does the number of blocks found make a difference as well? For eg on the larger pool I see a block found every few minutes from various pool members, but on 1GH, I see a block once every few hours or so, maybe sometimes 2 in the same hour, but these are few and far between.

Does this make a difference to payout?
The pool luck is lower than what is statistically justified: at current difficulty and total hashrate it should be finding around 10 blocks per day. But the same goes to beeeeer.org, so it looks like the *cough* bigger pool is employing some dirty techniques after all.

We are working on adding yam support now.

Great, I could then also point my cpus (8core opteron, 8core bulldozer, 8core i7, 4 core i7) to the same pool as my gpu rig.
Would I be able to use the same payout address for several workers (gpu&cpu mixed) or would I have to use different?
Whichever is more convenient to you (whether you want separate statistics per worker or aggregated over all workers).

I can just urge everybody to move your big rigs over here (even if it is just for a one week trial). I bet with a higher total hashrate compared to the *cough* other pool profitability of pts@1gh.com will increase even more.

would need windows binaries for cpu mining...

I am mining here since 12 hours with ~3000 c/m.
Up to now GPU mining protoshares on a pool with relatively low total hashrate (compared to the network) seems to be profitable to me, at least 30% more profitable than mining altcoins +lower power consumption (half!!).

Thanks for all your efforts so far!

---> Remark: 7 found blocks last 12 hours. This looks promising! The pool seems to be catching up in terms of luck?

We have introduced minimal deposit limit since Jan5.
And the system will not process PTS deposit before they accumulate to 0.5. I am afraid your issue is due to too small transaction.
Please not, if you deposit PTS less than the minimal amount each time, your last deposit will not show even when you reach the 0.5 Limit. It will show next time you reach 0.5 limit

Found:

        N: 11
        Required sigs: 1

And what now?
So your payment is on the blockchain, you need to ask bter support why did this transaction not get credited to your account. I assume they have not updated their wallet yet and this has something to do with recently removed transaction fees.

I have been mining on this pool for a few hours now and payouts seem to be very low as compared to where I was mining earlier. I am at around 1000 cpm but I just dont see any returns. Am I reading too much into the numbers?

also mined with around 3000 cpm but the return on this pool is really low ... like 0.2 PTS for half a day... that doesnt even cover electricity costs!! (gave up for now)
