Now that blocktrades has reinstated the BTC<>SBD pair, it seemed like a good idea to go on about why it could be a good opportunity to park funds in SteemUSD rather than USD.

The fine difference is that you only earn 10% interest if you keep the Steem Dollars on the Steem Blockchain. If you keep it on Bittrex or Poloniex, you earn no interest. The big exchange does.
