Awesome!

I think this is a very important pair. For sure I will be using it regularly!

Wrote a little something about it:

@dannotestein how about going from Bitcoin directly to SteemUSD?

Was this supported in the past? Is it coming back?

At the moment The only options are to STEEM and STEEM POWER.
We haven't supported it in the past, but I added it just now, based on your request.

Ok, we've worked around our problems with double detecting incoming deposits of Steem Dollars occasionally I think, so we've re-enabled SBD to Bitcoin conversions. For more details:

Since at least yesterday it has not been possible to withdraw SBD for BTC via blocktrades.

I could not find an announcement about this, nor an estimate of the downtime for the pair - or indeed, whether this is permanent or not.

It's possible that I missed such an announcement completely.

A quick search over OpenLedger appears to reveal that they do not support SBD<->BTC either.

Any other options that you know of?
We disabled it because we've seen some bugs on receiving SBD. We're working on a solution now. I hope to have it operational some time tomorrow at the latest.
